my husband has been here for 3 years now.. something is just not working in our marriage.. he has his set ways, and set old fashioned mentality and does not want to change.. anyway long story short.. he applied for removing conditions, went to do his finger prints again.. has not received his new green card ( is he even supposed to get a new one?)... so, in the even we do get a divorce, i do not want him in the US.. is there anyway that i can make sure he gets his behind back to the country he came from?.. i really dont want him getting his citizenship and staying here... is there anyway that i can prevent that by getting a divorce?

My husbands green card expired in May. I still have not renewed it. What is the process of renewing it? Will there be a penalty for waiting this long?

I want my mother in law to come to the US to visit. What is the process to bring her here as a visitor for lets say, one month... ??

My husband got his green card.. his work authorization is expiring.. what happends now.. I dont think he still needs work authorization since he got his green card.. right? What do I do

That's what I thought. But, do I go to the social security department and tell them to get him a new card that no longer says "Valid only with dhs authorization"... right

Thanks a lot guys! Your info is very helpful. I should talk to someone that knows what they are doing in that bank. I don't see why I'm not able to add my husband on. He does have a SSN.. She was also saying that he needs some form of State ID.. which would be a New York State one.. but there too, when I went to get him one, and presented his passport they were not excepting it as valid for issuance of an ID.. so0o.. I dunno.. people make it very difficult to move forward.. lol

I understand that when you go to your interview, you have to present documents of proof that you are living together.. such as a joint bank account for example.. BUT.. i went to my bank and asked them about the procedure of adding my husband to my account so we can have a joint account.. they were telling me that he needs proof of residency such as a greencard.. how is that possible if we dont have the greencard yet.. we are slightly confused.. pleasseee heeeeeelp!!

No i meant the Visa number.. is it at the very bottom of the Visa that starts with a K and is 7 numbers.. or is it the red number on the bottom of Visa which is 8 numbers in total... and the A number is on the back of the I-94, huh?!?

so is it the number that stars with a K? or is it the number that is in red... how confusing!!

my fiance's visa expires on march 12.. it is march 3rd.. and i still havent sent in the documents.. i am finishing them up.. it took forever for a copy of our marriage certificate and with school and work, only made things worse... is this a problem??

on this form, part 3... it says.. Nonimmigrant Visa Number... there are a whole bunch of numbers on the Visa.. which one exactly is the Visa Number ? Where is it located on the Visa? and Also.. what is an A#??

Hey guys I have a question too. My fiance received his package from the embassy in skopje. they sent him DS-230.. at the bottom it states that it has 4 pages.. but they only sent him pages 1 and 2..might anyone know why that is??? help please
