  1. Hi All,

my husband has been here for 3 years now.. something is just not working in our marriage.. he has his set ways, and set old fashioned mentality and does not want to change.. anyway long story short.. he applied for removing conditions, went to do his finger prints again.. has not received his new green card ( is he even supposed to get a new one?)... so, in the even we do get a divorce, i do not want him in the US.. is there anyway that i can make sure he gets his behind back to the country he came from?.. i really dont want him getting his citizenship and staying here... is there anyway that i can prevent that by getting a divorce?

  2. My husband got his green card.. his work authorization is expiring.. what happends now.. I dont think he still needs work authorization since he got his green card.. right? What do I do

That's what I thought. But, do I go to the social security department and tell them to get him a new card that no longer says "Valid only with dhs authorization"... right

  3. Thanks a lot guys! Your info is very helpful. I should talk to someone that knows what they are doing in that bank. I don't see why I'm not able to add my husband on. He does have a SSN.. She was also saying that he needs some form of State ID.. which would be a New York State one.. but there too, when I went to get him one, and presented his passport they were not excepting it as valid for issuance of an ID.. so0o.. I dunno.. people make it very difficult to move forward.. lol

  4. I understand that when you go to your interview, you have to present documents of proof that you are living together.. such as a joint bank account for example.. BUT.. i went to my bank and asked them about the procedure of adding my husband to my account so we can have a joint account.. they were telling me that he needs proof of residency such as a greencard.. how is that possible if we dont have the greencard yet.. we are slightly confused.. pleasseee heeeeeelp!!
