  1. congratulations :D !!!!

Wow congratulations! I'm a newbie here and just wanted to ask what you mean by DV? is it something were going to pay to BPI? before our interview?hehehe.. I just can't understand so much about that..

Yups! DV is the Document Verification fee that needs to be paid once she gets her MNL case no. to the BPI. Good luck on the rest of your journey!

  2. Hi all! Thanks for all your help! My fiancee just received her visa today. What i learned and i should have asked is that anyone who just recently got their MNL case no., i would recommend you guys to pay the doc fee ASAP because thats what took my fiancee so long to receive her visa. She paid the DV a week before the interview and she received the visa like almost a month after the interview!!! What a long wait and i hear people getting the visa within 2weeks??!!! Its best to pay the DV about a month before the interview. Anyways, I thank God she finally got it! Good luck to everyone else and God bless!

  3. Hi guys what is the income requirement for filing i-129 fiance. i file the 134 Affidavit right? is there a link for this? thanks!

    here is the link

    http://travel.state.gov/visa/immigrants/info/info_1327.html

I am researching this stuff myself and came across this info, this is from the dept of state website, and should answer your question:

Should K-1 fiancé(e) visa applicants use the I-864 or the I-134?

Since fiancé(e)s are nonimmigrant visa applicants, they should use the I-134. They will need to submit an I-864 to U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) when they adjust status to conditional immigrant in the United States after they are married.

Do the same income requirements apply to all immigrant visa applicants even if they use the I-134?

No. The 125 percent minimum income requirement, the most recent year's tax return and other requirements only apply when an I-864 is needed. Applicants using the I-134 will need to show that their sponsor's income is 100 percent of federal poverty guidelines as required under Section 212(a)(4) of the INA.

so wait, I made the 100% minimum but when if i submit the I-864 to adjust status, i wont be able to meet the minimum requirement. Im confused!!! Does that mean they wont approve it by then when we get married! oh no!!
