Nope you cant. Even if you submit her resume to hospitals coz as youve said its retro,meaning no visa available for I-140 (immigrant visa). I heard after 5 yrs retro will be lifted. I've a pending I-140. Try working visa, but its hard to find one that will sponsor a foreign worker. As you know, hospitals are cutting down too. One of the requirement for sponsoring a nurse from other countries is to show proof that there is shortage here.

Why not explore other countries for alternative. UK is open but you gotta have P300,000.00 plus airline ticket going there under their study program. The thing is, they will be categorized as students but while studying,they are working and get paid.

hello freddy!im a nurse and coincidentally i dont work either..we just started the visa processing just this month and up until now we havent heard anything from the lawyer..so maybe me and your fiancee could be friends.

OK..i will be more patient. anxious, but patient.

you know what? were on the same boat..and the thing is we (me and my fiancee) are not sure if 129-F has already been filed because we hired a lawyer. We thought it was filed sometime in March but then again as I browsed some guides in the forum the lawyer asked the one page narrative report on how we met. And It came to my mind that maybe it was only then that he filed the papers. So maybe ours was filed 1st week of May..So you're still lucky you know...

It has been 10 days now since receipt of my I129-F at the Vermont center. I have yet to receive any confirmation from them, and my check has not been cashed. Is this usual, or average times?

While reading some time lines here I see some receive with in a few days... just curious what other think.

I think even if everyone here tells you their experience it will still not provide any reliable data.

actually though...I think the NOA1's are coming sooner than they used to. At 10 days I would not be worried.
