  1. For some background. Our I-485 was filed March 17th. We haven't received a receipt notice, or anything else from USCIS in our mail. I was able to access my online account through chat agents, where I saw that the application had already started processing April 8th, and my Biometrics Appointment was already made. So now we want to apply online for the work permit, using the "Upload a filled out PDF Form" option. I have seen conflicting opinions if this is actually a way to do it, Tithe eligibility of our status (c)(9). My other question is, since we do not have a receipt notice for the I-485 application, will the biometrics appointment document suffice? Thank you so much!
  2. I797C* notice of action. Sorry about the typo! As far as I understood, you can file online as long as you use the Upload PDF option (not digital application) where you will also pay the fee.
  3. I have another question. We want to submit our EAD application now, however, we do not have the I-767C form for the I-485, as we never received that. We have the case number and the biometrics appointment letter (from myUSCIS). Will this suffice for an online application? Done, sorry about that
  4. Update for any future peeps: I called USCIS, to have it rescheduled, as the office is a 5 hour drive away and I could not get there any time soon. I explained my situation, and they said I'm going to receive a phone call from (202) 838-2104 in the next 30 days.
  5. So, our case (k1 based i485) was filed on march 17th. We have received no notices whatsoever in the mail. I was able to access my online USCIS account today, after i spoke with emma, got my receipt number, and emailed them for my online account number. When I accessed myUSCIS account and added the case, I saw that my biometrics appointment was scheduled for April 29th. Are we screwed? What should we do? I saw people online recommending to do a walk in. E: I should add, it said this on the case status website: On April 11, 2025, we scheduled you for a biometrics appointment and sent you an appointment notice for Receipt Number. Please follow the instructions in the notice. If you do not receive your appointment notice by May 11, 2025, please go to www.uscis.gov/e-request to request a copy of the notice. If you move, go to www.uscis.gov/addresschange to give us your new mailing address. So I sent out a request for a copy of the notice yesterday.
  6. OK Yeah I managed to get my DS3025. Thanks for the answer and clearing it up
  7. Hi everyone, I entered the U.S. on a K-1 visa and had my medical exam before my visa interview. At the interview, I gave my medical documents to the U.S. embassy, and they kept everything. I didn’t receive any copies of my medical exam or vaccination records. Now, I’m filing Form I-485 (Adjustment of Status), and I’m confused about what to submit for the medical exam and vaccination proof. Since I already did the medical exam abroad, do I need to submit Form I-693, or does USCIS already have my records? I can get my vaccination records from my family (my mom is my family physician, so she has access to my vaccination records from my country), but will USCIS accept them, or do I need a civil surgeon to complete Form I-693 just for vaccinations? Thank you in advance.
