It was. But hiring a bad lawyer got me a denial at first, and the visa wasn't current after we got the case reopened. Lawyer filed one day after my visa expired and an officer named Karen, her real name not joking, used this to deny the case.

It could've got finalized (decision made) but because it's not current yet the approval is still pending, so they closed it. Just guessing.

Hi everyone,

My case started showing as "case closed" since Jan 18 but the status remains the same and nothing new under the documents tab. I called and spoke with a live agent, but they said my case is still pending under review. I asked them to help because I need to upload more evidence like the monthly utility bill and the case closed issue is preventing me from doing so, but they said they do not know what's wrong!

Has anyone faced this issue before?

Some people said it means an approval but my priority date is 14 April 2022 so it's not current according to the latest visa bulletin.
