And by the way, anyone here from South San Francisco? I'll be holding an Open House on Saturday Jan.8,from 1-4pm at 482 Alhambra feel free to come by.

  2. Maybe we could share cool bay area tips? Like I know that the Oakland museum of modern art is free the 1st Sunday of the month!

Also please support the Asian art museum in San Francisco because it needs money or will close. They have some solid exhibits and there are some great CHEAP restaurants nearby?

  5. I have no idea why the system is not taking the WAC number. It might take awhile before it appear in the system I guess. Just to clarify, the WAC number on the NOA and the bio appointment letter is different and you have to chcek with the WAC number on the bio letter.

Nope, all you can do is wait after the bio appointment unless they have an RFE or something.

My bad sorry dumbass here.lol... Here what I saw. should I not worry about it since it was extended for 1 year.? Here's the snapshot post-48444-0-34323800-1289335975_thumb.png online!

  6. Before you got your Bio appointment letter, you should have receive the NOA which will extend the green card for another year. It will takes months before your case will be approved or interview. There are many people here who are still waiting for approval after their bio appointment.

By the way, you should be able to check the status of your case on uscis.gov using the WAC number listed on your bio appointment letter.

    Good luck!

Thanks for the reply i tried but it says case cannot be found. I called USCIS today same thing. Is there something to submitted after Biometric appointment?

  7. Hi Everyone,

I getting worried since I cannot see my case online even if I had WAC....... is says "something like case is not found........". My visa will expire soon Nov. 25, 2010. I submitted my I-751 last August 28 and did my Biometric appointment last Sep. 24 after that I don't get any notice from USCIS like interview appointment or whatever it may be. How long is the waiting period to get approved or notice after Biometric? Is their something to get worried here since my visa will expire soon? Please help me enlighten as I always find helpful people here. Thanks

  8. "Sorry rewriting again"

Hi everyone, Just wondering how to view my status online, I tried to look my case with WAC.......but its says "something like case not found.....". My green card will expire this coming Nov. 25, 2010. I already submitted my I-751 along with my supporting documents and also done my Biometric appointment, after the biometric appointment I have no clue what's going on with my case status. Is there anything I should do? since i don't get any other notice like interview appointment, card production or whatever it may be. However in my I-797C NOA, says that my conditional status is extended for a period of one year. Please enlighten me with this matter since I'm not sure if I'm doing right here.

    Thanks

  10. All my forms are dated August 25 including my check and I also mailed it on that date. I live in California I mailed to P.O. Box 10751 Laguna Niguel, Ca., 92607.

It is 90 days before your green card expires and not three months. Your 90 days will be 08/27/2010. If they received it before this date the package will be returned!

Oh my.. this is really ridicoulus, its just 2 days....

  11. Wait for another week and resubmit. You submitted 91 days before. (there are 31 days in October)

8/25 was a sunday? Did you submit before 8/25?

I mailed it on August 25, 2010 my mistake for not mailing it prior. I believed they received it August 26 as it dated on the note. What should I do? I'm re confused now. They returned the whole packet including the check. Should I re do it and also the date?

  12. Can anyone help me my whole packet was return to me!!. My visa will expire Nov. 25, 2010. I submitted August 25, 2010..

    It's say reason for returned!!!

"You filed the I-751 prior to the ninety (90) day period before the second anniversary of your date of admission to the United State as a permanent Resident. You may resubmit the petition within 90 days of the expiration date of your Alien Registration Card. Your card registration Card expiration date is 11/25/10.

Can anyone help me with this, really appreciate!!

  13. Why her husband died? because he is too old and its time, or he died because of the desease?

We only heard one side of the story...perhaps the Filipina husband while spending his time in Philippines has a mistress (while he was not sick at that time) and the Filipina wife was mad at him and desided to have a Filipino man herself and flew to the US.....however I , agree that the wife was very heartless did not take care her husband while he was so sick at that time.

you might be right or wrong. Some people can twist stories!!! So people stop making comments as if you know the whole story!! Its sad story but who knows why? We all dont know what the story behind.

  14. "Au Pair" I've known a lot who did this but not sure if it works with relatives just try to research this Visa and Family who sponsor belong to higher income.

There are twelve sponsoring au pair agencies designated by the State Department. Host families typically pay these agencies an application fee and a program fee which varies from $5,500 to $7,200, depending on the agency used. The program fees cover expenses related to the arrival of the au pair and compliance with regulations governing the program. These include, but are not limited to, airfare, medical insurance, mandatory 32-hour education session on child development and safety and other expenses. Au pairs pay fees which vary depending on the US agency and the home country agency they use (if they do not apply directly to the US agency).

    A bit pricy...

    -P

    Au piar?? J-Visa?

You may want to research that one.

Again she could visit to help you out with your child.

I have seen many who get grand-ma to visit for up to a year.

    SEE: http://candleforlove.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=8469

She is NOT working if she is helping you with your child.

  15. This is what i meant when I said "what you gonna do with the kids? kick them out? sorry just replying thru my mobile can't do those highlighted thingy in the sentences, it is only " figures of speech" not literally kick them out as per advise!!! second of all, i did not said that you kicked out the eldest it is another question. The situation of the eldest I guesd is kind a hard for your husband.

Just try to fit in those people shoes. Believe me, I also feel your struggle. What I'm trying to do here is to speak in behalf of those kids or your husband but again I can be wrong. You are the one venting here and i don't know what's your husband side neither his children.

Sorry same thing to the last poster can't copy paste the sentence above. When i said marry obviously you only marry your husband when i said you also marry the children doesnt mean literally "marry" again by marrying the husband you accepted the resposibility as a spouse and as stepmom to his children, you may not be a bio mom but you are the PARENT. I don't mean no harm with my sentence some would agree and some won't. I am a Stepmom too and I'm also a stepdaughter so I know how does it feel both side again of course we have different situation.

  16. My dear please find a right forum that has the same situation as you, so you'll get good advise.

In State "We serve kids"at the same time teaching them. Let kids be kids, make sure that they are happy. When you discipline kids here it doesn't mean hitting the child or spanking them or else you are " Dead Meat " by the law of child abuse. In US most parents always make kids as a top priority over themself so no matter how busy or tired life is we have to attend there needs. You should try to understand the culture here and the right approach how to handle the situation. I know it not that easy it take time.

And I have to be honest with you " You enter this relationship without thinking " that part of marrying your husband you marry also his kids and that doesn't change when you get into their life, those kids are still your husband kids.

What do you want to do with this kids? kick them out in your house? Do the same with the eldest of your husband? Have you ever imagine what the eldest feeling right now? You think it's easy to grow up without parents on his side or parents not seeing their child growing up? Now that you have children of your own it doesn't mean also it can help the situation but rather make it worse and you know why? because your own children will see and feel how their brothers treating you an it can directly affect their behavior. Girlfriend your situation should be corrected with the help of your husband.

Read about Parenting and step parenting this informations are available online for free. Do not just think of yourself and your children. Your stepsons are also the same page as you are, but they are kids they need to be tought how to behave properly.

  17. some advise gone wild obviously they are just joking around. I really love my SD she even sleep with us whenever she is with us she is so adorable. It took me time to adjust her and she feel comfortable with me. She always make puppy face with me when she want something but I have to be firm its part of disciplining and controlling to her behavior. I belong to other forum about Step Parenting it helps me understand children here in US and how to deal with step kids. Read online about Step parenting it can definately help you. I always communicate with my husband about her behavior and it is my husband as a primary disciplinarian to her. Look at the bigger picture it will also affect you bio kids behavior so as much as possible while you bio kid still little and another on the way, slowly fix the problem I know its not easy but if you know exactly how you will succeed. Just to make you happy that being step parent is also rewarding while writing this my SD is sleeping beside me and I was reading her story before that about our ALAMAT she might knows well our Philippine Literature than children in the Philippines.lol..

  18. writing here in VJ does not solve the problem. I would agree with Jom advice. Let say for instance, Your asking them to pick up cloths on the floor stand infront of them with authority voice since you are an adult and deserve to be respected don't stop telling them until they picked up the cloths then say "thank you" to them after. I have 7 y.o SD when she dropped her cloths in the floor she have to pick it up or her dad would pick it up for her not ME. If daddy is around an she wants milk sorry daddy have to make milk for her. If daddy is not around and she is making messed in her room , I will tell her to clean up after before daddy come home from work if she won't listen I will call her dad that simple. Let your husband deal with them and don't tolerate them to treat you like that, kids needs to be thought how to respect adult and parents must discipline kids.
