i am a January filer too. Just wantet to say hey and wish everybody a fast and pleasant AOS journey.

So should i go to the SSN office tomorrow change it and get a copy of it so i can sent AOS package off? Or should i not put it on the forms and change it later?

Hey i am till in the process of filling out all that paper work for AOS. I wanna keep my maiden name as my middle name. So far i have not been to any office to change my name. Can i just put my maiden name as my middle name on all the forms for AOS? Has anyone been through this before? I would appreciate your help. Couldnt find anything on here.

Hey everybody,

i came over here with a K1 Visa and we are now filing for AOS. Since i can file for AP and EAD at the same time as AOS and not pay for those two, can i go ahead and file for and Avance Parole even though i might not make use of it? I just want to avoid having to pay extra for it at later time in case i need it.

Has anybody done it this way?

Hey i am new to this AOS Thread so i hope someone can help me out.

I almost got all the documentation together to send in the AOS package. The only problem i got it that i never received the DS 3025 at my medical in Frankfurt. Has anyone ever had this problem before?

Wow, so much is happening here. Havent been here in a while so i just say

CONGRATS TO EVERYBODY on whatever good happened to you lately.

I just received my Visa in the mail so i am relieved the first step is finished. I am leaving in 2 weeks to finally be with the love of my life. Cant wait.

Hello May filers,

i had my medical and interview today and everthing went great. So now i am waiting for my visa to arrive. Yay

The medical took really long, was there for over 2 hours and got late to the embassy but nobody seemed to care about that. I got a number, went through security and into the big waiting hall. I sat down for maybe 2 min before i was called. Went to two more windows and was in and out of the embassy within 35 min. I had gathered so many things as a proof of relationship and they didnt want to see anything. Fine with me.

i just received my interview date. I cant believe it. It is ten days from now.

So hopefully i will be able to get to my love before Thanksgiving.

You can go ahead and fill out the forms. I only got a letter from Frankfurt giving me my new case number. You actually dont get the papers anymore, you have to get them online. At least that is what i had to do. I had to go to usembassy.de and then to Immigrant Visas, then to K1 and on the bottom it says what to do when you got approved. There you find the documents.

I am still really confused what to send back and what not. If anyone send it back already let me know PLEASE!!!!!!!!!!!!!

i know that i will probably find this somewhere in this forum, but i havent been here in a while cause my fiance is here to visit. We got the packet 3 a week ago and filled everything out. We want to send it off now and i just want to make sure that i got everything.

None of the forms have to be signed right? I also got the DS157 form of the page and it says it expires tomorrow. Does anyone have one that expires later than that?Does it matter?

I am also not sure about the forms that need to be send cause the 156K says to send birth certificate etc. Do i send it with it or bring it with me to the interview. Do i send the checklist, even though we havent gotten everything together for the affadavit of support?

I know i am asking a lot of questions, but we are kind of behind since we had a death in the family and that through us off.

We found out yesterday that we received the NOA2 hardcopy since my fiance was in Germany at the moment. The date on the NOA2 is September 4th.

I would like to call NVC, but i dont know if there is any information on the NOA2 that i need for it.

So when i call is it an autmated system and i have to type in a number?

We called his brother and he read the whole thing to us. It is dated September 4th but still not on the USCIS page.

Question about the NOA 2. My fiance is currently in Germany, but is leaving tomorrow cause his grandfather died. His brother told us, that we had something in the mail, saying our time window is September 3 - January ?. Does it say something like that in the NOA 2 or does that mean we got an RFE? Would be great if someone could let me know? Thanks guys

Hey everyone!

How are yall doing? I am doing pretty good, even though we have not received the Noa 2 yet and my timeline says i should contact the USCIS if i dont receive it by Tuesday. Scares the ####### out of me. But my fiance arrived Friday and we are gonna enjoy the next 3 weeks together. Thank God i could take off a couple of days to spend with him.

I just hope that they hurry up. I have my fingers crossed for everybody else as well, but only the May filers. It is about damn time for us.

This week was terrible , i am glad to know now that there is a reason for the slow down. Jason wanted to call today anyways, since it has been quite a while. Just to make sure that our file didnt get lost, that is the only thing i am worried about.

I wish i would have more time to participate here . I get a chance every once in a while to read and post a quick hello, but it helps out a lot seeing other people who go through the same s....... It always makes me smile to see yall not lettin your hopes get down. So keep it up and i will try to participate more here.

I am from Dueren which is between Aachen and Cologne. It is a real small town, but i will be living in an even smaller town in the States:)

I got a good feeling, that this week will be a good one for us. We moved up to 82 on Igors list and somebody got approved who sent of there package 4/22 and we sent it off 5/2. Come on Vermont and CSC make us the happiest people. It is really simple just approve

havent said hello in a while. I check it every day but that is all my time allows right now.

So a lot has happened.

I am sorry to hear about Laura. I hope she gets better soon.

The only good part about being busy is that i dont have the time to get mad at the whole waiting situation. Of course it sucks. We moved to 101 on Igors list today. I am not too stressed out as long as they approve 2 or 3 people a day. Better than nothing. I just hope that we all get approved soon, so keep up the good spirits everybody

The summer is back in Germany but since i work all day i cant really enjoy it but maybe this weekend. So how is everybody doing today?

I know that a touch doesnt mean that we got approved but just to hear that they are working on it makes me feel good. If i wouldnt get touched i wouldnt be worried either, but to me it is a good thing and i am happy about it especially on a day like today where everything seems to go the right way. Sorry you dont see it that way. Still wish everybody good luck on a fast approval.
