    I am geting ready to apply for the citizenship based on a 3 year rule, but I am very confused when it comes to the evidence of the continuing marriage. Do I need to send anything in with my application, or just bring it with me to the interview? From what I am reading on USCIS website, my understandig is that I need to send:

    -application

    -2 passport photos

    -check with the payment

    -copy of the front and back of my GC

    I don't see anything about the evidence of the contunuing marriage, and yet when I read posts here on VJ everyone seems to be sending them with the original application.

    What should I do?

    Copy of tax returns or a transcript?

    Hi all,

    I just started getting all the documents together for my ROC and I am wondering if I should bother ordering our tax transcripts for last 2 years, or can I just make copy of our copies of tax returns? We did the latter for AOS and it was fine. Is it ok for ROC too? It's easier to just make those copies, but I really want to avoid RFE, so if it's better to order the transcripts, this is what I will do. What is you experience about all this?

    Can I apply for colege grant if hubby signed I-864?

    I'm not sure if this is a right spot for this topic, if not please feel free to move it...

    I have green card for almost a year, recently I lost a job and was wondering if I could go back to school. Since the finances are really tight right now (hubby lost his job, too), I wanted to apply for a grant from our state workforce. Ofcourse hubby signed I-864 during the AOS process. Can I receive a grant or would he have to repay the money back to the state workforce? Any input will be much appreciated.

    Hi guys,

    I had an interview today.

    I am pretty sure you are approved already, my interview was like that also and I was told that the officer will recomend approval, but somebody else approves the case, not the person that interviewed you. My online status changed 2 days after my interview and it said that they ordered production of my card on my interview day! Let us know when you get the good news! :)
