I will be living in Missouri near St Louis.

I cant believe I got the wrong papers from the embassy (K1 papers) then got the right ones (lost about a month with that) but still got a really early interview ! I didn't think I'd be leaving France before September...

This morning I got my passport back !!! the Visa looks sooooooo good HEHE, I keep looking at it and still can't believe it!

Ty ! Not sure yet when i'll leave still have some things to take care of here, since I can't come back for a long time...dont wanna forget anything but will probly be around Mid August...hope the tickets wont be too expensive.... At the moment the one ways are cheaper than the round trips

Steve, I hope ur wife gets a rlly nice person for her interview like I did...the lady was very friendly, she only asked how we met, if I had met my husband's family yet and even said my english was good !

I just wanted to tell u guys....I haven't been on this board cause ive been so busy gettin rdy for my interview.

My interview was yesterday, on the 31st of July !!! I GOT IT ! I GOT MY VISA yay ! Im so happy

It was so easy too...I mean I got asked like 3 questions and they didnt even ask for any proofs...

So dont worry too much about the interview cause it's way easier than what I had imagined !

They said ill get my visa at begining of next week...after that im gonna get everythin rdy and probly leave to see my husband in about 2 weeks FINALLY !

Hello Renatchi and Steve, I got a question for u.

I received Packet 3 (finally !!!) but I have 2 problems :

1) On the DS 2001 Applicant readiness for interview and DS-230 Part I forms, someone handwrote "K1" instead of K3

2) I told my lawyer I would send them back anyways and just say they made a mistake...but she said those forms aren't the correct forms for a K3 because they are for IMMIGRANT visa and K3 is non immigrant.

So my question is, did u get the same forms ? I rlly rlly dont know what to do...because I was under the impression that the those forms were the same for K1 and K3 and also I thought embassies consider K1s and K3s as immigrant Visas.

I wish it was so easy to talk to someone at the embassy in Paris...they don't ever answer the phone or tell u to call the other number (u have to pay 15euros to talk to someone on that line... )

And I think they don't schedule ur interview until u send back the checklist

Renatchi, i wouldn't worry yet, if u look at timelines it typically takes an embassy 1-2 weeks before they send u packet 3. I'm gonna wait 1 week then call them...

Ok i got it to work Steve thx for explaining! Now i have sthing else to check everyday (or every hour???) >_< I missed the daily ritual of checking USCIS website to see if my case was approved hehe

I also thought, u only send back the checklist and another form but not the actual documents on the checklist...

I'm not sure...well its probably their accent...it sounds very funny to us lol

Lol usually they start about the same like "There was a Brazilian man and an Argentinian man" but replace Brazilian and Argentinian by Belgian and sthing else...yes we like to make fun of Belgium people I dont know why !!!

Steve, what do u put in reference, to track the package?

I didn't ask about I-130 as I am not interested in going the CR1 route, they didn't mention anything about it either.

They said Paris embassy should receive it in 2-4 weeks yay im so excited

The NVC received my I-129F petition yesterday, and they were able to give me my new case number ! YAY Just wanted to let u know...u should call them today they probably have urs too!

But either way after the nerve wrecking Approval wait, I think we should be fine !

I'm so happy for u, ur having a rlly fast visa journey ! I just wonder why did they send ur husband a bill then if they was going with the I-129F? did they by mistake, processed both ?

OMG Renatchi...did they tell u why it became a CR1??? im worried this is gonna happen to me too now I definetly want a K3...I dont know what to do anymore

Well that sucks...they need to forward faster than that ! lol I was planning on visiting my hubby in july but i guess i won't have time now
