    Hi to all my VJ friends!

    My visa arrived today, 4pm July 21. It was approved July 14. It took a week to get into my hands..but that's okay. It's worth the wait. :dance::dance::dance:

    nag inquire n ako s hostel163 then i asked them how long it takes from the hotel to SLEC she told me that 1hr something..it depends.. and 20-30 mins from hotel to USEM :wacko: ok lng bah dyan dbears? thanks for the info

    anyone knws hotel near USEM and SLEC that will only range from 1000-1500?

    Hi there!

    Try Cherry Blossoms hotel. St. Luke's is just like 3-5 mins walk from that hotel. Their rooms comes with free breakfast too and is around your budget.

    Good luck on your medical and interview.

    oh i see! thats gud. what was in ur neck tho? if its a thryroid related i dont think theres a lump but ur neck looks bigger.

    so if they didnt ask u anything, wat happened next to that?

    My neck doesn't look big, big round eyes lang po ako with thick lashes! ehehehe.. The surgeon cleared me, it was just adipose tissue. But I had to wait for 4 hours just to have the surgeon palpate my neck! uminit pwet ko sa kaka antay kakainis! :angry: I'm thankful though na wala me problema sa thyroid :dance:

    Sheesh i don't know where to start, I'm just sooooooooo pi$$ed right now....

    I had my medical last July 3, first day and had to come back on July 7 for my physical exam coz i was having my period on my first day. Then the examiner saw my scar near my wrist and thought i tried to kill myself so she put me on a psyche test that they scheduled four days later (earliest available date). I guess they only have ONE psychiatrist!!! I got so pi$$ed that i needed to pay another 1K for an evaluation i don't need since i got that scar when i slipped my hand on a sharp rock, and another on my toe while swimming in Batangas TEN years ago. So i took the test still with no contest just so i'd be cleared of whatever issue they have regarding my mental ability. After the test (20 mins for 1K imagine that!) I was told that I still need to wait 2 to 3 working days for the result and i don't need to worry (haller my interview was set to take place on JULY 18!!!) . The doctor said that without even telling me that she will have a CONVENTION to attend to THIS WEEK!!! So long and short of it, I was just told to call on MONDAY for my result since the freaking CONVENTION will end on July 18 and that they will be the one to reschedule my interview...now how was that for me?????? My fiance was so pissed that his laptop fell while we're chatting! He asked me to get all infos...doctor's cellphone...email...contact number and am definitely gonna go there today!!! Haay we had been waiting for so long for our case to get approved then SLEC found a GOOD REASON TO DELAY US....and that's all for the sake of a CONVENTION they wouldn't mention before!!!! Really need your advise guys....... :crying::angry::crying::angry:

    In my case, I was referred to their surgeon for further evaluation. The MD who did my PE didn't even bothered to ask for the results of my thyroid function tests. The surgeon just palpated my neck, didn't also asked for the results of my thyroid tests. :whistle:

    theyre all ryt. patience and just kip moving forward, trust God. i had my 1st medical exam 2day ( i just got home) the physical exam doctor palpated the lump on my left side of neck and i told her i undergone biopsy for it a month ago but didnt bering the result, the result was ok but she requested for the medical certificate from the doctor who did the biopsy.

    i suppose to go back to st. lukes 2mrw, but i wont yet cus i still need to request for the medical certificate from the doctor. they told me i can go back any day as long as i have the request of the doctor.

    btw, anybody here encountered the same thing? didnt go to st lukes the following day for some reason and instead went back there few days after ur first medical exam?

    Manila Embassy Interview/Visa Status

    Hello vj family!

    My interview didn't push through on July 14th. We had to postponed my interview coz I haven't resolved my birth certificate yet (had 2 birth dates, different months and dates). I am awaiting the judge's order this 30th of July so we can start the 3 consecutive weeks publication on the local newspaper.

    I had my medical on June 16-18. It was a 3-day process for me coz the MD referred me to their surgeon coz she thought I have enlargement of thyroid gland eventhough I told her my thyroid function tests are within normal range! (it was just adipose tissue on my neck). Anyway, I was cleared on the third day and got MMR and TDaP. I Had my CFO on the 20th.

    To o0Pink0o and chris-lei, thanks for including my name in the July list but I think it should be removed coz I will not have my interview this month. I am really sad and so disappointed :crying::crying::crying: but I want to fix my birth cert so I won't have problems in the future with it. The damn judge who was in-charged of my case retired on July 7th without signing the order so I had to wait for the new judge to sit.

    Anyway I want to thank everybody for your invaluable posts and outputs on this site. This is really a great big help in guiding us through the muddy waters of visa processing.

    I beg to disagree! Gossipping is not inherent to filipinas. I think you have misread the topics that have been posted here. I haven't seen topics that you considered as "GOSSIP". The ladies here are not mandatorily posting replies, they do so out of the goodness of their hearts to help those who are confused or helpless about this arduous process. And as for those topics like age differences, whereabouts and jobs before meeting their fiance/fiancees and husbands, that is not considered as gossip! They are just proud of their SO whatever their age differences or jobs may be. People here do not just seek advices or help, they vent their feelings coz who is better to emphatize or symphatize with you if not someone who is going thru or had gone the process of this visa journey.

    I am just curious why you asked if filipinas like to gossip very much. AREN'T YOU A FILIPINA???!!!! You know the answer, don't be obtuse!

    CFO Seminar and Travel Tax Inquiry

    I recently had my CFO guidance and counseling last June 19th. We went to Citigold center in Quirino Ave but we were told that they no longer conduct counseling there. we were redirected to PRSIM at Taft Ave.

    PRISM

    2nd Flr., Banco de Oro Bldg.

    2422 Taft Ave. ( a few blocks opposite of Dela Salle Univ.)

    I got my yellow certificate of attendance in PRISM with a fee of 250 php

    Next, I went to:

    Citigold Center

    1345 Pres. Quirino Ave. cor. South superhighway

    Tel no. 561-8321 loc. 104 to 105

    paid 400 php and got my green Guidance and Counseling certificate and will return once I have my visa for the sticker.

    The requirements that I submitted for the guidance and counseling at PRISM were:

    1. photocopy of my valid PRC license

    2. photocopy of my valid NBI clearance

    I was asked about my birth certificate and I told the lady there that I don't have it in NSO secpa since I am still waiting for the court's decision on the petitioned I made for correction of entries.

    Any 2 valid IDs will do actually. Just submit the photocopies. My lady counselor was very nice, the counseling was a breeze actually. We waited for 10 mins for our certificates. Be sure to check the spelling of your name and have it corrected if it was spelled wrong right there and then. They will correct it. Photocopy the yellow certificate before going to citigold for the green cert and sticker.
