This may be dumb question, but passport signature/information page says SIGNATURE OF BEARER, which I think is my illegible signature, also some online websites say the same thing that it should be same as my check, credit card signature.
However, the small leaflet I received with US Passport says Now… Sign your full name in your passport in ink…
So, can someone tell what, the correct way to sign the US passport is?

at oath ceremony , your husbands green card will be taken.. he is not going to have green card after oath.. so needs to apply for passort if he wants to travel

svrao - don't worry about the update not happening - my online status still reads that they have received my application and I will be contacted later, whatever the wording is. I became a US citizen August 26th - and they still haven't updated my case file on line.

I applied for my passport today and the passbook as well. She told me it would be 2 1/2 weeks non-expedited which is fine. I'll let you know if it does come through in that time frame.

Enjoy your oath ceremony Cookiee, it's the best part of the journey:) I only took the green card and letter (they did not ask for anything else). I did have my passport in my bag, just in case!
