Hi, i am new to the site. I sent off for my fiance' visa 2 weeks ago, but ran into something discouraging. I read something that says an age gap could cause a red flag to go up with immigration. Me and my fiance' are 10 years apart. Has anyone out there been through this before? Where there any problems?

  I'm thirty years older than my wife, and this is quite common in foreign marriages. What you read is B.S. We didn't use a lawyer and neither did most of the people we've met here. No problems with the age difference whatsoever. Read the instructions carefully numerous times and do everything they say. Ask questions here if unsure about anything.   Thanks for the comments on the blog - we do have the comment feature turned of on account of not knowing what our policy should be. I think that your diary of immigration is a great thing to do for others trying to go through it...
