  1. My fiancé is originally from the Philippines, but was working and living in Thailand. She just got back to the Philippines to wait for our paperwork to process. Her mailing address is listed as the one in Thailand on the I-129F but I need to change it to the Philippines. I contacted an agent at USCIS and was told that I could send in a letter requesting a change of address to the office that is handling our case (California Office). However, I have had people tell me several different things. Should I send in the letter to USCIS California Office requesting a change in mailing address? Should I wait until I receive the NOA2 and contact the NVC? Or Should we wait until my fiancé fills out her DS 160 and update it then. For reference, I have the embassy in Manila, Philippine listed on the I-129F expecting her to move back to the Ph. I'm pretty sure I'm not the only one that has had their fiancé move while the I-129F is being processed. Thank you for any help/ advice provided. If more info is needed, please let me know.
  2. Hello, My fiancé is from the Philippines, but is currently working in Thailand as a teacher and will be returning to the Philippines late February or early March of next year when her contract is finished. Should I make her current address the Thailand address and the address in the Philippines a previous address? My only concern is her address will change while the package is with USCIS and this might raise a red flag. How do I document or express future plans for her to move back to the Philippines?
  3. Hello, I just got back from visiting my fiancé in the Philippines and we are newly engaged. I would like to start the K1 Visa process however, she has had to go to Bangkok, Thailand to teach. She will be finishing her 18 week contract then will be going back to the Philippines which is where she is from. Can I start the K1 Visa process with SimpleCitizen and submit the package to USCIS during the 18 weeks she has to finish her contract? She left all of her paperwork in the Philippines because she wants to do her part there due to language barriers and she will be very busy during the 18 weeks. Also, let's say my fiancé has 5 weeks left when USCIS finishes their part and my fiancé is still in Bangkok finishing her 18 week contract. Can she schedule a visit to the US Embassy in Manila out past the 5 weeks she has left of her 18 week contract or does this complicate things? Or, in other words, can our foreign fiancés schedule a visit to a US Embassy months out from notification from USCIS?
