Just wondering in case my interview notice gets lost in mail or something...

In my case it did not change, when they sent the interview or after I was approved.

mine still says pending and I'm already done with Citizenship process... so don't trust online status.

Ok, I'm done with this process.

finally took my oath yesterday at atlanta DO.

There are 111 people from 47 different countries took oath and became citizen of one common nation USA.

I completed my interview yesterday @ Atlanta DO. Scheduled time was 1.05 PM but didn't get call till 2.00 PM.

IO was nice person. He pull up all documents I submitted with application and was just checking everything in order and whatever was missing he asked me copy of that.

He also asked me what's proof you're still married to USC and i told my wife is sitting in waiting area and he told me he needs to meet her after interview, I said That's fine. then he continue with application and ask me all Yes/NO question from last pages. Then it's Test time. Ask me 7 questions and ask to read one.

Then he congratulate me that I'm approved.

As my interview was after 2.00 PM, there were no chance for same day Oath. Ask me if 21st or 25th will work for me.

I picked 21st Aug at 2.00 PM. and he didn't even ask to meet my wife after interview.

Document asked during interview:

1) my birth certificate

2) Tax returns for 2005,06,07

3) My daughter's Birth Certificate

4) My I-20 because I came to usa on F1(Student Visa)

5) GC and Passport

6) My Marriage Certificate

Oh! That mean if someone lost interview letter in mail or bla bla, then there is no way to find out about case.

Why the hell USCIS created online status check. Even if you call to customer service they only know what website have.

Mine is also still says Pending and I have already received my Interview letter for Aug 19th.

I know for some folks, Case status disappear when they get interview letter but for me and some other folks lately.. it's still says pending.......

I got my interview notice yesterday.

Interview is set for Aug 8th.

I guess I better start looking at the civic questions.

5/10/2008: N-400 Application mailed (CSC), San Francisco District Office

05/12/2008: N-400 Application received at CSC (PD)

05/14/2008: Check cashed

05/19/2008: NOA & FP Notice Received

05/31/2008: FP Scheduled in Oakland

06/30/2008: Received Nautralization Appointment Notice

08/08/2008: Scheduled appointment in SF

You got lucky Interview date....... 08/08/08.....

Road-block in Boston... I had biometrics on 6/6. I called USCIS today to inquire about my name check status, much like some of you did. The rep said that USCIS does not disclose info on name checks. She basically read whatever was available online in the Case Status section. She also said that normally USCIS does not post biometrics dates in the online case status section.

What say you, guys? Touch luck - try another rep? Or just sit tight and wait?

I have read that you can call the FBI, 304-625-5590, and ask for the status of your name check. They will only tell you if they received the name check request and if it has been sent back to USCIS. They will not tell you the result. I have not called the FBI yet because my wife just did her biometrics last week but will try to call next week. If you do call let us know how it goes.

Did you talk to Customer Rep or IO ? Because Customer Rep don't know anything about name check status and they don't have access to see that information but just IO. You need to talk to actual IO to find out more details about case. I called them last week and make sure my Name check is cleared and I'm in queue for interview date.

No.. They will only tell you if your fingerprints results sent back to USCIS or not. To check status of namecheck you will need to call USCIS and need to talk to IO or make infopass to local DO.

Just called USCIS and talked to IO... They said my name check is cleared but no date assigned yet.... Let's wait and watch..... any update from other May filers?

Mine also came within a week.

Fingers crossed all goes well for hubby on Saturday!

I got my card production ordered email today. YAY

I wonder if I should send a copy of my card for N400 when I receive the card?

Congratulations........ Hopefully we'll not have to wait for N400 that long..

I also waited 1 year 1 month for my I751 to get approved....
