  1. Hi Guys, I have already posted this message to another forum but I am looking for a quick answer so re posting it here. Please, don't get upset:

Our case was approved last May and NVC scheduled our interview on July 21. We both (My spouse and I) received our interview letter from NVC. I am just curious if we need to contact US Embassy for anything. My wife completed her medical last month.

We never received anything from US Embassy Bangladesh. I noticed some people receive package 3, package 4 (not sure what they are) from their native Embassy. Did we miss anything? I am getting nervous, thinking that we should have contacted US Embassy in Bangladesh and now it will cause further delay by not doing so.

  4. Hi Guys,

I have paid both IV and AOS bill online. I noticed both cover sheets have CR-1 on it. I am expecting to have our interview by July this year (If things go OK). but by that time our marriage will be more than two years old. (We got married June 2006) Is this going to be a problem during interview time? Last thing we want to hear during interview is : "We can not approve CR-1 for you.Go and apply for IR-1"

    Thanks everyone.

  5. nita&assaad,

We have almost the same timeline at NVC. I paid AOS bill online on May 01. I called NVC this morning and their automated voice msg has not changed yet. So, i am not sure if I should send i-864. Did they change yours? I was able to print the cover letter for i-864 though and the online status showing 'Paid'

  6. Hi Guys,

I am filling DS-3032. I am planning to put my spouse as my choice of agent:

X I appoint (Should I put the relationship (ex: husband) or actual name here?)

as my agent or attorney to receive ........

Thanks for your help and support.

  7. Ok, I read all your replies. You all are suggesting that if someone is not happy with USCIS, they should keep it to them selves (or may be just use a forum like this to vent it out) but when we talk with uscis customer service we should be polite.

Reading at all the post before, I got a different idea. I thought people are very frustrated and lookin for a way to show it to USCIS. I was wrong. Let's move on.

  8. Lansbury,

hopefully, i will get mine approved in few weeks. but it was a very painful process. I read some people even could not finish it. If enough of us chalange them, may be they will listen.

Why don't you call uscis once and tell them that you are concern about the pain they are causing in people's life. On the mean time, let me try if I can bring eough people/ideas to see if we can make an impact.

The difficult thing might not be to make ins listen to us but to make you shut up.
