I had a question about form I 485 form for the I 94 # is it the hand written A# on the back or the departure number printed on front of the card?

What does "DOS" mean? And what is their number to contact if a case is pending in AP. checking for someone who is going thru this..thanks in advance

I'm sorry to hear your situation my man. I have some experience with woman and I can tell you she has alterior motives possibly getting a green card or just to come to america. So you need to figure out maybe divorce is the right option you can not beg someone to be with you especially if she's always threatning you to be with other boyfriends. Doesn't look like shes a keeper. Don't get played man just trying to look out for you

Hi, my wife just recieved her 3.5 packet from the overseas consulate, I had a question regarding what forms to send to her. Regarding the I 134 affid of support does she have to send the package along with tax proof twice once now and once to the interview or just take the copies with her to the interview? If someone has already been thru this process can guide me as to what to send exactly it would be greatly appreciated.

You are now dealing with DOS and will need to fill out several DS-Forms depending on if you are pursuing the CR-1 or K-3 visa.

I had recently had my 129f/130 approved and got a letter from nvc that the case will be sent to the consulate overseas. I just wanna get a head start and start collecting the documents i would need to send to my spouse for the packet 3 i think it is. Im a bit confused regarding the ds forms do we need to fill those out or just the G325 a would suffice?

I recently had my I-129 f and 130 approved for my wife on a k3 visa. I just want to know what addidtional documents should I collect for the next step. I got a letter from nvc that they are sending the case to the Islamabad consulate. My concern is regarding the ds156 forms, someobody told me i dont need that just a copy of g 325a for I129/130 will do. Is that true or do i have to fill out those ds forms because it looks kind of redundant.

Any help greatly appreciated.

I would go with K3 definetly. It will take somewhere between 10-12 months based on people i know that have filed. I recently also filed k3 for my wife whose in Islamabad. But ofcourse there is no set time with USCIS it all depends if you get lucky

I just had a question regarding my friends case. She had filed a 129F petition in 2005 and her fiance had his case approved and interview in 2006. The embassay of the fiances residence advised him to wait and he will be notified regarding his visa. Well its been in FBI security check since then for almost two years now and INS has no answer for her just telling her to wait and theres nothing they can do, she has written to senators and representatives all over with no luck. Since filing her petition almost 3 years ago she has gotten married to her fiance and is it better for her to file a fresh spouse petion from scratch(I130)....any advice would be greatly appreciated.

how do you know if ur case has been touched? im a newbie

My official "cut & paste" answer regarding "touching"...

"Touching" is meaningless and no big deal. Some petitions get 'touched" and others never do. It only indicates someone had your petition in their hands and scanned it into on the database. Other than proving your petition is not in the trash, it is nothing to get excited over. What truly counts are NOAs (yeah!) and RFEs (Boo!)
