During a recent move the movers had lost my 13 year old daughter's greencard, I have searched everywhere for it. Her's and my wife's two year greencards don't expire till 03/29/2009 but I'd still like to have my daughter's greencard replaced.

Just wondering if we are the only ones in such a situation. We called customer service about a month ago and were told to wait another 30 days before we call again. After the first phone call, we were almost sure we'll get the appointment notice in mail. Still waiting... Any advice?

Make an Infopass appointment & speak to an immigration officer directly in person.

So how soon are people recieving their greencard once they've recieved notice that their card is in production? Is it really 30 days like it says in the letter?

Hope I get mine in the mail soon.

You won't be able to check your case status online with the number listed on NOA.

Wait until your biometrics appt letter.. It will have diff case number & you'll be able to

check your status online with that number.

Our NOA date was Jan 31th.

Approved on May 20th.

Received Three emails (two 'card production ordered' and one 'approval notice sent') & I-797C in the mail.

We're just waiting for the actual card to come..any day now~!

Our I-751 was approved on 5/20 and we just got welcome notice in the mail today.

But on the welcome notice letter, it only shows inital of first name & last name.

(for example, if my full name was "John Doe", it shows "J Doe")

Should I be concerned about it and call customer service to correct the name spelling?

Or do they only type first initial of your first name and last name on welcome notice?

I'm sure I'll be getting the actual card within couple of days but just want to make sure if

everyone else's welcome notice were sent out that way.

I just checked the status online and found out that we were approved as of 05/20/08!

I tried checking our status online today but i always got a validation error,it said that my case status retrieval failed ,both when checking at the homapage and checking on my registered account.Is there something wrong with the USCIS website?im sure nothing's wrong with my case number coz i made sure i entered it correctly even though it's been saved on my computer.

I guess it's nothing to do with the capitalized letter,i have just seen somebody posted the same question so i guess they're doing some upgrades on the site.now im relieved coz i thought it has something to do with our case.thanks for the reply

Hi everyone!

I was able to log onto case status online till this morning to check my status.

I just came home from work & tried to log on to see if anything has changed.

But I get error message saying my login information is invalid???

Is anyone else having the same problem?

Where do I need to contact to correct this problem??
