Greetings everyone,
I am so nervous and excited at the same time... My 10 year-old daughter and I will board a plane for China the day after tomorrow. I have been through the document list probably 6 different times, but I just don't know; Are we really ready?
Did we prepare everything? Did we forget something?
I mean, we're one of the real ones. We have a real love. She's the woman of my dreams. We talk everyday for an hour on webcam. We text constantly. We talk on the phone. We send emails. And we've been doing this for months and months. Why am I so nervous?
Here's a list of what we have prepared:
1. Original Notarized I-134 Financial support Form
2. W2, Tax Return ---2008/2007/2006 (copy)
3. Employer Letters ( included statement from supervisor, from employer )
4. Payroll stubs (Sept, Oct, Nov. Dec. 2008, Jan Feb 2009)
5. Bank statement, deposit history(notarized)
6. apartment rent payment (14 months : Jan 2008- Feb 2009)
6-1. apartment lease statement
7. Utility Bills (Gas, Water,electricity)
9. Petitioner’s Credit Card statements showing purchase of plane tickets to china
10. Petitioner’s Healthcare Insurance Card copy
11. petitioner’s social security statement (original)
Evidence of Relationship:
---letters:
1. petitioner’s letter of evolution of relationship (notarized in embassy)
2. Petitioner’s letter reffirming intend to marry (notarized in embassy)
3. our pastor Tim’s letter; Mariners church’s wedding contract, deposit check
4. Petitioner’s statement to explain the termination of his previous marriages( not signed yet)
5. petitioner’s mother’s letter
6. petitioner’s daughter’s letter
---others:
1. photos taken of petitioner and beneficiary for four trips in China in 2008 and 2009
2. our webcam pictures (with my fiancé; with his daughter-Lauren and him; with our pastor and my fiancé for our premarital counseling)
3. pictures about my fiancé with his family, with his friends
4. E-mails (with my fiancé, with his mother-Irma; beneficiary’s emails to petitioner, email inbox lists)
5. MSN records (with my fiancé, with his mother-Irma)
6. text messages list, phone history list
7. flight tickets to China for four trips
8. hotels pay check for four trips
9. engagement ring receipt
10.some post cards from petitioner, his daughter ; beneficiary’s birthday card to petitioner
11. petitioner’s touching poem to me
12. expenses receipt and tickets for the sight seeing, bus tickets to my hometown
Petitioner’s & Beneficiary’s Documents:
1.petitioners’original US passport, Copies of Petitioner’s US Passport and Visa Records
2.Petitioner’s copy of the Social Security Card (copy)
3.Petitioner’s Resume & business card
4.Petitioner’s copy of Drivers License

Did we miss something?
Thanks for your help...

Hey Everyone,
We are preparing for my fiancee's interview. She has her Physical Exam soon.
When and how does she pay the fee for her visa interview?
Thanks,
Dan

Greetings Everyone,
Man, preparing for the interview is getting intense. I was told by my fiancee that I need to write a statement concerning the termination of my former marriage.
Does anyone know what this letter should say?
Thanks,
Dan

Hey everyone,
I'm flying to China at the end of the month to be with my fiancee during her interview.
My question is: If I make more than $80K a year and have sufficient evidence of that (2008 Tax Return), do I really need a sponsor?
Thanks,
Dan

Greetings everyone,
I am filling out my I134, and I noticed the example form from VJ has no value in the:
"I have on deposit in savings banks in the United States: $ _______________"
and
"I have other personal property, the reasonable value of which is: $________________"
Should I leave those blank?
Tanks,
Dan

Greetings Everyone!
I hope that this post will bring encouragement to anyone in our K1 shoes.
First off, let me say, that my Fiancee and I have been in prayer about our K1 process since the beginning and we realize that this thing is much bigger than us. God is in the middle of this and His fingerprints are all over it.
Today we received our NOA1 !!!! And I think it's a record: Filed on May 28th, Notice Date from NOA1: May 30th, received in mail: June 3rd.
There is power in prayer and I know that there will continue to be further evidence of the Ringer we've got in our corner.
Blessings to you,
Dan

Hey Everyone,
Thanks for your support and encouragement, and most of all, thanks for your prayers.
I sent the package today via USPS with Delivery Confirmation.
Funny thing, the processing center is 15 minutes away from my house.
I believe that God will bless this in a big way.
Cheers,
Dan

Okay, the entire package is assembled. All the i's are dotted and t's crossed.
I have a duplicate of everything. And I'm sure everything will be fine. Right?
I'm mailing (USPS Express with Delivery Notice) our original 129F submission on my lunch hour.
Please pray for us.
Thanks,
Dan

Hey everyone,
Well I think I've got the whole K1 package ready to go, finally. My question is concerning the proof stuff:
We met in China last month and I've picked out about 6 pictures, the hotel receipt, and my Airline boarding pass.
Anything else I need to submit for proof of meeting each other?
Thanks,
Dan

You're totally right. Her name is Xiao Hong. On the G-325A, she spelled it Xiaohong and on all of my paperwork, it's spelled the same. But one document, her original "Letter of Intent to Marry", has a line where she signed, and underneath is typed: "Xiao Hong Chen".
We should be good with that minor discrepancy, right?
Thanks,
Dan

Hi Everyone,
Newbie here, organizing the first draft of the I-129F bundle. I knoticed today, after having received my fiancee's FedEx packet, that there is some inconsistency in the way we're writing her name. In Chinese, okay, there's only one spelling, but in the "romanization" or "pinyin" of her name, it's either modeled like "Mary Anne" or "Maryanne".
The only place it is inconsistent, is just below her signature on the Intent to Marry letter. Should I ask her to change that and send another express packet, or is it not such a big deal?
Thanks,
Dan

Greetings to all my VJ Friends!!!!
First off, let me say thank you to all of you for your support and prayers.
Today is a very very special day. My daughter and I waited in the cafe on the 4th floor for less than an hour when we saw my lovely fiancee come around the corner with a huge smile on her face and a pink paper (realy it's more peach) in her hand.
With tears in our eyes, we hugged and prayed and thanked God for being so faithful throughout the whole process.
God is good, all the time.
Blessing to all of you on this road...
Dreams do come true!
Dan
