  1. Thank you. First page: Please bring the following with you: This notice with Page 4 completed. Please refer to instructions below. All Permanent Resident Cards ("green card") that you may have, valid or expired. All Reentry Permits or Refugee Travel Documents that you may have, valid or expired. Any other documents USCIS issued to you that you may have, such as employment authorization cards, valid or expired. The second page is blank. It would be Ok? Thanks.
  2. Hi everybody, I have been scheduled to attend the ceremony in July, but I have not yet received the official notice by mail yet. It's not too late and I may still wait, but I would like to ask if it would be acceptable to print the attached oath ceremony notice from my USCIS online account and bring it with me to the ceremony in place of the mailed copy. Thanks.
  3. Today, I noticed that my case from "Oath Ceremony will be officially scheduled" turned in ""Case Is Being Actively Reviewed By USCIS"! What does it mean?
  4. Thank you. I also looked at you timeline and thank you for sharing that. Can you update when you got the notice online? It must be after your N400 approval on 2018-04-10.
  5. Hi everyone, I recently (two weeks ago) had my naturalization interview and was placed in line for the oath ceremony. I'm now waiting for my Oath Ceremony Notice (Form N-445). I was wondering: Has anyone here received their oath ceremony date and location through their USCIS online account (under "Documents")? Or did you only get the notice by regular mail? I am trying to figure out if I should expect to see something posted in my USCIS account first, or if it usually just comes by mail without showing up online. Thank you very much for sharing your experiences — and best of luck to everyone waiting!
  6. Thank you very much.
  7. I also requested a name change during the interview, and the officer mentioned that it would require a judicial ceremony, which may affect the timing. My online status now says “Oath Ceremony Will Be Scheduled”, and I'm just wondering: How long did it take for you to receive the oath notice and attend the ceremony if you were in Northern Vermont — especially if you also requested a name change? Thanks.
  8. Hi everyone, I just had my naturalization interview at the Colchester, VT field office and was informed I've been placed in line for the Oath Ceremony. The officer mentioned that the timing might also depend on the weather. I'm wondering if anyone here who went through the process in Northern Vermont could share how long it took between the interview and receiving the oath notice or attending the ceremony? Any recent experiences from the Colchester or nearby areas (like Burlington or Montpelier) would be really helpful. Thanks in advance and good luck to everyone on your journey!
  9. I don't remember if there was an eraser and I didn't ask for it, because I was shy and a bit nervous.
  10. I arrived about 40 minutes early, and they actually started my interview almost half an hour ahead of schedule. Everything went very smoothly. The civics questions focused on the Constitution and U.S. history, and the reading and writing portions were simple—though the electronic tablet and thick stylus were a bit awkward. (My advice: get comfortable using a tablet beforehand, or try practicing with a thick pen or a highlighter on a small notepad (10 inches) to simulate the experience.) The interview itself was quick and straightforward. Now, I'm just waiting for my Oath Ceremony to be scheduled—really looking forward to it! Big thanks to everyone, especially @OldUser. Wishing everyone else a smooth and successful interview as well!
  11. Hello everyone, I have my interview tomorrow and feel prepared overall, but I don't have much experience using the electronic tablet for the writing test. Could anyone advise me on what to expect? Also, does the tablet include an eraser function? Thanks.
  12. I do appreciate your encouragement. I am trying to be relaxed. Thanks again.
  13. Thanks a lot. I also have a long period pending case for travel document since last Feb (14 months so far). But I don't see any changes there, either. Thank you again.
  14. So, basically updates must be take place on my end immediately if they have changed something?
  15. It doesn't mean they have rejected my case because of typo?
  16. Hello, I have an interview next Monday and I got a message from USCIS saying: """ We have taken an action on your case Sign in to your account to view your case status""" but can't see any changes! What does it mean?
  17. Thank you very much. When should I notify the officer?
  18. I noticed a typo in my N-400 application—one of the residence dates (to) has the wrong month and day. My interview is next Monday. What should I do now?
  19. Hello. I filed my N-400 in December 2024, and uploaded my tax returns for 2021, 2022, and 2023 to the USCIS website. My interview is scheduled for April 14, just one day before the tax deadline (April 15). Would it be advisable to submit our 2024 jointly filed tax return ahead of the interview to help ensure the process goes smoothly? Thanks for assistance.
