A little update Filed in April 2007, had my fingerprints done in May 07, then nothing at Nebraska.... Like a tumbleweed blowing across the screen.. then today I get a email saying that I've been transfered to CSC.
How much longer do we think before I get my card? LOL my case is pretty stright forward, been with my wife for 12years (IM a UK citizen) Moved to the states 4 years ago and have a almost 10 year old kid.
/plays waiting game some more.
I just checked CSC Processing time its October 2007, does that mean that I will be processed right away, or go to the back of the queue

Well done for everyone who's been approved, but for the rest of us waiting its horsecrap.. come on USCIS work overtime if you have to, I will sign off on it

Ive been reading a lot of the posts on here and it seems that people around my time line were xfer to CSC, was everyone xfer there or just some people, NSC has had my application for I751 since Apr 11 2007 and apart from a touch in may when I went for my BIO nothing else has happened.

Other reasons for the stamp are:
Your driver's license is about to expire and you need evidence of residency to renew.
Or: Your employer wants to verify your employment authorization status.
But yes most get the stamp if they intend to travel internationaly.
Yeh my state has recently started being harsh on people trying to get a driving license...lol.. but nope im good there, and Im at college at the moment finishing a degree off so I wont be working anytime this year
And as for flying, URGH... the flight over here was awfull, we went from Manchester to Copenhagen then all the way across to Seattle longest flight EVER.. then I was bundled in my wifes mini van and drove all the way down to southern oregon...put me off flying and minivans...

Seeing as my I751 extension is running out, I called the Infohelp people... Hmm that was fun but anyhow... they said that the only reason I would need to get a stamp in my
passport is if I intend to leave the country, and if I dont intend to leave the country then dont worry about it.
Does that sound right?
Also can someone explain to me what is going on with the I751 Apps, Im at the Nebraska center and its still showing July 06, and from reading the forum it seems that a lot of people are waiting who applied earlier then us.
Maybe Im just wrong?
-
am i mistaken... im sure the time for processing the I751 went up, when I last checked it was December 2006 and now its july 2006... whats going on? I called the helpdesk today and was told that the only reason I would need the stamp is if Im going to leave the US.. does that sounds right?

Fair enough, most of the cases you'll come across here are straightforward as well some of us (me included) are waiting since Jan 07 or earlier.
LOL looks like i might need to go there, when I went for fingerprinting last year, the guy who did it noticed that on my fingerprint recipt my A-number was wrong instead of being A111111111 its A111111112 and checking my main notice today its the same no wonder its taking so long... Grrrrrrr

Yeah, you can setup an infopass appointment (infopass.uscis.gov) and it will locate an office near you that you can get your stamp.
I dont think im gonna go through that hassle, the nearest center is a 500mile round trip, I'l just wait for mine to come, whats the worse that could happen

Hello there
I filed for I751 back in April 2007, got my notice a few weeks later and also got my fingerprint a few weeks after that, and then it stopped....I haven't been touched, or nothing, Im sure I checked processing times for the Nebraska office in December/January and i checked it again today and im sure that its jumped back a few months
We have a pretty stright forward case, been together 12 years, lived in the UK for a while, had a child in the UK, came back over here... so its nothing to hard... My extension runs out in May, what happens if i dont receive the new card by then, do I have to drive to the center to get a stamp?

You can get terrys chocolate oranges at Staples. My best find to date is Basstts Liquorice Allsorts in Fred Meyers. The thing im craving is Sasauge Rolls, Scotch Eggs, Vimto, Kebabs and proper Bacon, none of this wafer thin stuff.
And Crisps, Proper crisps Im fed up with the 5 flavors they have over here. I want Pickled onion monster munch and smith square crisps!
And whispers! Dang i cant wait to go back at xmas
However the HP sauce was a nice find
