FYI: Once your fiance picks up her packet from the CR consulate it can take a while to gather all the necessary info so start early if you can. My fiance and I had to wait longer than we wanted to have the interview because we wanted everything to be perfectly in order before he showed up. I wish we had done a little more ahead of time.

FYI: The CR consulate is very flexible about selecting a date for the interview. Also, once my fiance got his packet it took longer than we expected to gather the paperwork he needed to submit so start early so you won't have to wait so long.

FYI- I turned my petition for my Tico fiance at the California Service Center in Oct. '07. It was approved in late Feb. '08 and went to the NVC and CR consulate within 2 weeks!!!
