No touches here either... and I had hoped that I would be getting a real GOOD b-day present from the gov. but that was yesterday and no word yet!!!

Like I said until now, no touches. The only thing I did is called the VSC to try to find out any additional information, RFE, etc, I spoke to the officer and she said that I am just waiting for my turn in the line for my file to be processed, that's it. My guess is that we will start hearing about September VSC filers mid January if not more. Remember that there are at least a couple of holidays in December and that always slow down the government, you know people going on vacation, etc.(I work for a local government office, and I know how that is!).

I have seen that some of the August VSC filers starting getting approvals, so we are next!!

When are you guys/ladies asking for your letter from your boss stating your annual salary and preparing your I-134?

after you get the NOA2 .while your case will be at NVC you can work on I-134 form .

Hi, I don't know about the consulate in UK, but I have a similar case, I am supposed to get my NOA2 sometime in January and maybe get an interview date by april, But my fiance is working until april 30th so we don't need the visa until some time in May, I called the Rio de Janeiro consulate, and ask them if a re-schedule is possible and they said that is Ok. Like somebody said here, call the consulate and find out. That is your best bet.

Thanks for the information, I understand what you said but I just wanted to have a sticky post with NOA2 approvals. I know the circumstances are different for every case(RFE, adjudicator, etc) but if you look at the majority of the cases, under normal circumstances the time line is about the same.

You see the link that was posted is not accurate either, for example in my case it says that my last updated date is 09/30/08 but it is 09/24/08.

Recapping, I just wanted ti have a post with only updated NOA2.

Well, the time line in this site is not really accurate because it shows you the time it takes since the mailing date and for some reason they are not all the same, some take 2 days like me and some takes up to a month for the NOA1 notice date. What I was trying to do is having a time line from NOA1 notice date, so we can have a better understanding on how the Service Center behaves and specially at different times of the year, that's all.

In order to keep track on progress on Service Centers, please post VSC approvals only in this post. This will give us an idea on how many days will take from NOA1 to NOA2. It would be nice if the moderators will make this a sticky post.

Hi, by looking at the July approvals, I don't see much of a difference on the time frame. A few days difference between the approvals. I think it also has to do between the NOA1 notice date and the NOA2 approval date. For instance I sent my I-129F next day delivery and I got my NOA1 notice day two days after I sent it. Some people send it regular mail, so it takes a few extra days for them. In my opinion to see the average we have to start counting from the NOA1 notice date. It seems to be around 120 days.

I am new in this journey and let me tell you a little tip I was told by an immigration lawyer. If you guys sent you $455.00 payment for the K1 using a personal check, and if you can access a copy of your cashed check online for your bank, on the back of the check you will find the receipt number. I bank with bank of america and I was able to get the receipt number from a scanned copy of my check, even though I have not received the NOA1 on the mail yet.

For instance I mailed my application on sept 17th next day delivery, they received on the 18th, cash the check on the 22nd so now I know my receipt number and have been checking my application ever since. I know for sure that the application was registered on their system on the 19th, and touched on the 23rd and the 24th of this month.
