  1. Hello, Today, I just received an email from NVC about my case, my case number for the first time after NOA2, and that it was in transit already when I checked CEAC to ***removed*** The thing is I didn't expect that my case would be processed today out of nowhere and that fast. I just received an email an hour ago and I hope the case is still at NVC because I want to change the US embassy location to process my visa and for my fiance to conduct his interview in his home country where he will reside by the time the case will be in "ready" status. I sent a public inquiry to NVC. Do you think that we can still change the US embassy location by making a public inquiry since in the email it said that "now we will forward the case to the US consulate"?
  2. Hello, I am really a bit confused with these two forms that you have to fill out and what the beneficiary needs to have for the interview. I have many questions about this and I hope you could help me out with this because I would appreciate any type of help! Firstly, which document must we fill out for the K1 visa? Also, it requires the signature of the person who will support the beneficiary financially, and he has to bring it to the interview. Is it okay to have like a printed file with the signature or photocopy of this signed document or does it have to be sent by mail or how does it work? Can there also be two people who can support you? Because I only see one person who can put the signature on the I-134 document? Do you need to provide some additional documents along with the I-134? If the beneficiary is going to be financially supported by me or someone else, do you only need the filled-out form? Or do you need to provide a job contract or bank statement or what exactly? I am also confused with Part 4 and Part 5 of the I-134 form. If someone is going to support you financially, does the entire document have to be filled out by that person, or do part 4 and part 5 have to be filled out? So how much does it have to be in dollars to make sure it is above the poverty line to support beneficiary? What is the most important factor when providing supporting documents and filling these forms for the K1? Does the bank account need to have a certain amount of money inside? Or what matters is the income from the job. I appreciate any response or any explanation or suggestion about this. Thank you so much!
  3. Technically it should be Frankfurt, Germany but we want to change to Lithuania.
  4. Hello, I have a question because I keep seeing different types of information that either you schedule the interview in the embassy for K1 visa or that NVC does it themselves, so I am little bit confused what is truth and what is not. Also, how long did it take for your case to be transferred to NVC after USCIS approval? And also how long did it take for the case to be transferred from NVC to the embassy/consulate? Thank you
  5. Also how do you track other steps what is happening after I-129f USCIS approval? How can I know if it reached NVC already so I could contact them about our case?
  6. Hello, What kind of app or website you use to track your visa status, for example, if your case sent to NVC already or not and etc.
  7. In the public inquiry to NVC, should I write the mailing address of the beneficiary or is it better to write the home address where he resides? He prefers to receive mail and visa-related documents to the mailing address.
  8. In the public inquiry to NVC, should I write the mailing address of beneficiary or is it better to write the home address where he resides? He prefers to receive mail and visa related documents to the mailing address.
  9. Hello, how can I contact NVC by making a public inquiry if I haven't received a code from NVC yet based on their website it says that they are currently not working on my case. Can I still contact them? Or should I call them in order to inform them about our desire to change the US embassy location for the interview? We are not sure what the right way to do this is because we don't want to miss a chance to inform them about our case of changing the embassy location. Also, should I contact the US embassy from the previous location listed in the petition and also the new US embassy location where we want to conduct the interview even though NVC didn't assign the number yet or anything? We appreciate any help or suggestion to these more specific questions about the NVC processing. Thank you!
  10. So you don't have to submit these documents to NVC, right? I read somewhere that said you have to submit police certificates, birth certificate and etc. to NVC or something like this not sure if it is true.
  11. Hi Yareth, thank you for your comment, I really appreciate it. What about the further procedures that we have to do besides NVC? Also what about medical exam, and documents we have to submit like I asked in this topic? Thank you
  12. Hello, Our I129f application got approved by USCIS. What are the next steps after that especially since we also want to change interview location to his home country. Do we contact NVC and make public inquiry or should we call also the embassy in his home country? Could you please explain how things go after case got approved and what should we do? Should we wait for the letter that case got approved or wait until it moves to NVC? Do we have to submit all police certificates and other documents somewhere online? How fast do you have to submit your documents since my beneficiary is on the vacation and he cannot order police certificate from Germany remotely? When can you go for medical examination? How do you book the interview and when can you do that? I appreciate your help and suggestions and any comments.
  13. Could you please explain this part a little bit more because I didn't understand what you mean that you only have 10 days to book the interview
  14. So if he changes his residence location to his home country in Lithuania, don't we need to inform USCIS? I am just afraid that we might not receive a letter after USCIS approves the I129f application for K1 visa to his residence location in Lithuania after he moves from Germany to his home country.
  15. But If the beneficiary changes not only the US consulate but also the location, is it enough to inform NVC and just file the DS 160 form instead of informing USCIS? Because we might not receive a letter.
  16. Hello, Can you travel to the US to visit with VWP while I-129f is pending? If I did ESTA authorization a few months ago when I was traveling to the US before applying for I-129F K1 do I have to redo it or I can still use the same? I'm from Lithuania. Can you share your experience or what do I have to prepare it?
  17. Hello, When USCIS accepts your I129f application for a K1 Visa. Is there a time limit until when you have to do your interview in the US consulate? How much time do you have to do that like to gather documents and everything before the interview? I heard there is a 3-4 month time limit after it is sent to the NVC. Overall, are there time limits or deadlines I have to be aware of when I receive acceptance from USCIS? If someone could explain this entire process I would really appreciate it. Do you know what kind of information they require in the military records document for a K1 visa interview? Is it alright if it is a document from the military stating my name and that you served in the military with dates at this location? Also regarding police certificates. How early can I get police certificates before the interview? Can I take police certificates right now even before the I-129f application got accepted by USCIS? How recent do these documents need to be? Are there requirements for the police certificates I have to be aware of when I request this document?
  18. If I file a public inquiry to NVC, do you need any additional documents to prove that you are resident in the home country? What documents could it be?
  19. Hello, In our I-129f petition, we wrote to do the interview at the US consulate in Germany, however, the beneficiary will go back to his home country and we want to do the interview at the US consulate in his home country. We already received a letter for RFE and we submitted evidence for that. How can we change the US consulate location to his home country to have an interview for a K1 visa? Is there a form or email where you have to inform about that? Do you need any additional documentation? Has anyone experienced this and could help us? Is it better to inform USCIS now before the case gets approved? Or is it better to inform NVC before USCIS accepts the I-129f application for a K1 visa? Or should we wait after we get accepted by USCIS and inform NVC? Should we also contact both the US consulate in his home country and the consulate in Germany? I appreciate any suggestions, help, or advice! Thank you!
