  1. Hi gogo,

our case left NVC on 7/2 and was delivered to GUZ on 7/22, but the consulate didn't open the case till 8/29. and we just became eligible for an interview since last week but no date has been scheduled yet. i hope this information would help you to estimate the process time in GUZ.

    Good luck!

    Hi AppleBee:

NVC told me that my case left NVC to Guangzhou on 10/21. But I went to DHL website and could not find any shipment to Guangzhou between 10/17 and 10/27. How did you track yours? Once Guangzhou opened the case, how did you know when you would become eligible for an interview?

    I really appreciate your help!

I had hard time tracking from DHL too, so i call DOS (202-663-1225 press #1 then #0) once a week to check on the status. then i started to call again after the 3rd week i mailed back our P3. i think that's the best way to track your case. Good luck

  2. Thank you guys.. wow, feel like an old timer now.. haha  yeah, we are finally coming through the tunnel.. or at least moving a couple of steps into it.. we were stuck at the beginning and hopefully the NVC trip would be much faster.. although my expectations for Guangzhou (China) isn't too high.. I'm estimating from now (beginning of October) to end of Feburary 2009.. about 5 months guess.. that should be realistic for GUZ? anyone here have any recent times on the NVC to interview time for that country/consulate? :star:

we got approved on 6/25 and left NVC to GZ on 7/2 and still waiting for our P4 and interview date. The whole process from NVC to GZ interview should be 4-6 months.

  3. Thanks everyone for the nice and caring messages =) haha, I'll keep this one short and respond to each one of you =):dance: and yes, I updated my timeline (finally) after all this time.. wow, what a relief.. but the battle is still not over.. all I done was hit them with my left hand.. now to finish the job and do a double KO..

gogo, you have completed the harest part of your journey, the rest should be an easy ride. it takes about 4-6 months from NVC to interview from GZ. i'm sure you will spent chinese new year or maybe X'mas with your wife. again, best of luck. :star:

  4. when my lawsuit ends in 6 days, and if there is nothing , I will be on full-blast attack faxing to ALL these numbers on this website.. I don't care if they live in a hole in the mountain.. as long as they have a fax machine, they are getting one..  I'll have a squirrel deliver to the cavemen people there if I have to..

It's not "FOR INTERNAL USE ONLY" anymore, now is it? list is updated in August 2008, so fairly decent

gogo, hopefully you will get what you've been waiting for..... I wish you all the best!

    Good luck

  5. Hi everyone

as part of the packet for filing a K-3 we are to provide the following

    Evidence of a Bonifide Marriage

The USCIS now requires that when filing an I-130 for a spouse that you include evidence of a bonifide marriage. They list examples of acceptable evidence as:

    1. Documentation showing joint ownership or property; or

    2. A lease showing joint tenancy of a common residence; or

    3. Documentation showing co-mingling of financialresources; or

    4. Birth certificate(s) of child(ren) born to you, thepetitioner, and your spouse together; or

    5. Affidavits sworn to or affirmed by third parties havingpersonal knowledge of the bona fides of the maritalrelationship (Each affidavit must contain the full nameand address, date and place of birth of the person makingthe affidavit, his or her relationship to the petitioner ofbeneficiary, if any, and complete information and detailsexplaining how the person acquired his or herknowledge of your marriage); or

    6. Any other relevant documentation to establish that thereis an ongoing marital union.

We plan to file immediately after marry, items 1 through 6 is not possible. what did others send in?

    thank you

photos of your ceremony will do! Good luck...

  6. Hi guys, sorry I was just away.. today is day 38 / 60 of our writ of mandamus.. I see that the lawsuit is pretty successful (90%+) rating, it just takes about 4 months time on average to get something.. I also created an account here

    http://pacer.uspci.uscourts.gov/

to check my own case without the lawyer and will notify them when something comes up.. that is similar to the USCIS Case Status except it is for individual lawsuits..

How are you guys doing? Are you going to apply soon, Paris Heart? Congrats on the recent approval, babybebita.. YAY...

gogo, i wish you all the best, and good luck!

  7. Have faith! The consulate in Guangzhou is moving along much faster than in the past. Take a look at my timeline. I was prepared for much longer times and we were so surprised and pleased by how fast things have been going. Remain confident. When did your papers leave NVC? Have you tracked them on DHL?

NVC told me the package was out on 7/2, and DHL shows no package was pick up till the 7th, and has delivered on the 16th. when i called DOS yesterday, they told me the package will not get to the consulate in 4 weeks to 2 months.

  8. people who aren't under security checks.. let's just say people not from China it seems like.. Right now, China isn't too highly regarded in USCIS (with all the fake marriages coming out) and the arrests of many people dealing with fake marriages recently in the US.. I hope that you can get approved soon.. at least some of us can get our spouses over here.. like my signature says, if I don't get it by December 20, then I move back to be with her..

o boy! are we the lucky ones...... well, i'm sure you will get your approval soon. I'm planning the same as you, i will move back to be with my husband if we don't get approved by end of this year. good luck to us all!

  9. I don't know maybe it wasn't because of putting those two together.A month ago I got two touches on I-130 and I know that they weren't from pairing those two because they lost our I-129F.Maybe it really means something, I hope it does!

I hope so too..... it's really depressing knowing how long ppl have waited since june 07

  10. Hi, please add me to the list as a December filer. Just had an infopass today. Nothing new, was told by a very compassionate lady to "wait". At least she was kind....will take that....will take anything at this point...clutching at straws...
