Since I am filing for my advancment of parole AFTER I have sent in and received reciept of them recieving my EAD and AOS packet.. do I need to get MORe passport photos to send in with my advancement of parole papers?

I am sending in copies of the reciepts and everything for EAD and AOS.

I was recently informed that my case was transfered to Cali. I am now applying for advancment of parole but am unsure of where to end it. Do I send it to California? or Chicago where I am told to file online?

Do I put the Chicago address on the money order under Department of homeland security?

You can send 5 money orders. as long as the total is $1010 you are fine.

We need to pay with credit right now and were wondering if we could send 2 money orders : 1 for 500 and one for 510 or would that just be a big confusion?

When sending in my AOS packet ( k1 based), I am wondering if we can pay for it via credit card as we cannot get a money order for over 750 and we need it for 1010.

well... i went to the social security office after getting married with a valid I-94 and they told me that as soon as i am married i am not a K1 anymore and they can not give me a SSNuntil i get inmigration aproval for my new status (AKA work permit o green card).... then, yesterday at infopass office i asked about it again and they told me that i need to wait for my work permit.....

some people was telling me to go to the SSA and dont say i was already married...... personally i am afraid they will consider that fraud. i prefer to wait a little more than getting in trouble with the governement.

and yes.... it's a pain in the *** because i cant get bank accounts, driver license, etc.......

thankyou! yeah this whole thing is confusing. Especially with the whole status changing after marriage stuff. Thanks for clearing it up for me. It seems that all the millions of places it's written about on here are all BEFORE marriage with a K1. Anyway.. thanks! Let the waiting game begin!

I have been looking around but I don't seem to see my situation.

Can I apply for my SSN after I get married on a K1 visa? A lot of places seem to say no.. but it seems odd that I can't. I know that I can't work until I get my EAD but I woudl like to get banking things and whatnot situated before my husband is deployed.

There are no suprises on the letter theyusually send us with the interview date, is there because I won't be able to recieve it before I fly out tomorrow.

I am so overwhelmed by this sudden change for the better! Now im just paranoid that i'm going to forget something!!!

We had finally given up on getting our interview date before my fiance was deployed. Then, I got a random email saying only this: 'we mailed you a letter today, your interview is Aug 28'

So.. I need to get from Nova Scotia to montreal in three days and bid farweel to everyone. I'm not even sure I have what I need because I wont even be able to receive the letter before I hop on the next plane out of here.

Is there a copy of the usual letter they send with the date online here anywhere? I would liek to see a copy of it before I leave so I can make sure I have recieved everything.

Also, I am wondering if anyone knows if it is possible to stay in montreal and pick up my visa y hand instead of me having to fly BACK to NS to wait. It's cheaper and quicker for me to stay in montreal and fly to the US from there.

I know we need to bring some new picture proof and whatnot to the interview.. but I have a question about the old pictures.

I am bringing a copy of the package we first sent when we first filed, but is it necessary to have copies of all the old photos we sent in the beginning as well?

We finally recieved our packet 3 today!! HUZZUH!!! Just trying to clarify because the checklist and whatnot have me confused. All I have to send to get the interview date are ds-230, and d-156 and checklist ( not the actually items ON the checklist)?

Do I need to include the photo in the photo section of the d-156?

I was just getting all my photos and watnot organized for the interview and doctors appointment. I was told to bring 3 passport photos with me to the doctors appointment.. do they need to be the us sized photos, or canadian ones?

I know the interview photos need to be us sized. Just clarifying the doctors ones

BEfore I get my interview with the consulte, I need to send in a few things.

Just to clarify: I do not need to have my doctor exam info to send in before the interview.. I just need to send the checklist, ds 230, ds 156k, i 134 ds 156 to the consulte?

We are in the process of getting this rushed because of deployment and everything is very vague before we get this packet 3.

We were emailed about filling out our ds forms online. I went to the site and filled out the ds- 156 and I am wondering if I am supposed to fill out both forms on that site:
