  1. Hello! It's been a while but we have finally received an email that our NVC is being sent from the US embassy to La Paz, Bolivia! Wooo! Well we checked on our case status online and it says: "Your case is ready for your interview when scheduled at the U.S. Consular section. If you have already scheduled an appointment for an interview, please prepare your documents as directed in your appointment letter and appear at the consulate on the appointed date and time. Otherwise, please wait until you have been notified of your interview appointment. Additional information about how Immigrant Visa interview appointments are scheduled can be found at: http://nvc.state.gov/interview" Just wanted to make sure that we will receive a following email of the appointment date from the Bolivia embassy? At this point, it is just waiting and collecting documents for the interview until we receive notification, right?
  2. Oh, haha sorry! Yes my partner is the beneficiary but I am writing from his account as the petitioner. He would conduct his interview in Bolivia! Is a scanned in boarding pass okay?
  3. Hello! In section 54 of the I-129F form it says to give evidence of meeting withing the previous two years. I am going to submit flight itineraries along with some photos of me and my partner together within that time. Do I have to send in any other information during this time for evidence of bona fide relationship or will that come later in the interview process? I am fine either way sending it in earlier or waiting until the interview process. Thanks!
  4. Hi everyone, I live outside of the United States, and my fiancé lives in the U.S. Currently, I'm back in my home country to finish university, with my graduation scheduled for early December. I wanted to ask for advice: should I apply for the K-1 visa now, hoping it won't interfere with my graduation, or would it be better to wait until after I graduate? Thanks in advance for your help!
