  1. Update if anyone looks at this in the future, my wife's green card was approved! Received notice about 3 weeks after the interview.
  2. Thank you for the insight! That's was the other thought I had when the antsy part of my brain would settle down. My only concern was that it would somehow obscure her K-1 entry, but it doesn't seem like that will be a concern, thank you again!
  3. Hi everyone, my wife just had her interview for her I-485 last week (adjusting from K-1) and it went pretty well and very quickly. The interviewing officer did not raise any concerns during the interview, but he did make her make a revision to her form that has been nagging me a bit. At the interview, she mentioned that she had used her travel authorization once prior to the interview. She received it in January and we used it for a short weekend trip after receiving it, and we made sure upon arrival back in the US that CBP correctly admitted her. The officer then told her that she would have to update the I-485 "Recent Immigration History" section to show her advanced parole use as her most recent entry. I asked the interviewing agent multiple times that updating the form would not affect her adjusting status from the previous K-1 visa entry (I was in the room with my wife for the interview), and after assurance that it would not, my wife signed for the updated I-485. Its been a little over a week since the interview and we have yet to hear anything back from the office about her approval. I know that a bit of a wait after an interview is not out of the ordinary, but I have yet to find another instance where an applicant had to update their I-485 based on AP use. Last week, we added an unsolicited information to her account that basically said, the agent made us update the form but she is adjusting from her original K-1 entry, here is her K visa I-94, stamped visa, travel history, pages from the original I-485 submission, etc. again as proof. Has anyone ever heard of anything like this before? Does anyone think this will have an affect on the application, or am I just over-reacting because the wait is getting to me more then I would like to admit? Thanks!
  4. Hello! My partner has an interview coming up in Montreal and has dual citizenship as well. Did you need to present anything your second citizenship beyond your passport? Did it cause any adminstrative blips or anything? Just making sure we are all prepared, hopefully it all went well!
