just wanted to let everyone know that i got my 10 year green card from vermont in about 2 weeks after i got the letter saying that it was in production, woohooooo, but now what , when can i apply for the citizenship

woooohoooooo finaly after more then a year of waiting and a resubmiting of info about 2 weeks ago i just got an email today that my card production has been ordered.

feels like a weight has been lifting of my chest.

good luck to all of you who are waiting, just keep your fingers crossed cause that email will be heading your way anytime soon

just got an update on Monday from a uscis officer who told me that Vermont just got done processing December 08 applications and will be moving on to January, so they are about 3 month late with processing.

hi i have done my biometric on march 26 of last yar and its almost time for the one year and still didnt hear form them , my work is bugging me to get some sort of documentation that states that i can still work , i live in connecticut , how can i schedule an info pass to get my pasport stamped , and waht is the phone number, thanks alot

i did my biometrics today and all i needed is the app letter and my green card, i think u will be fine with only those

ok so i just got from my biometric app, it was at 11:00 am , i arrived there at 10:05 went in , and then i was all done by 10:20 and on my way home, that was the fastest ever , in hartford ,ct .

i just got my biometric app and t is on sat 4/26

truthfully , all i ever submitted was my bank statement that has both my wife and my name , thats all , and i got the 1 year extension , some people send tax returns which i will probably take with me when i do my bio and leases forms,credit card statements that has both names on it , everything that u have under both ur names will help you

it took them 5 days to cash mine including weekends at the vermont center, but normaly they take 1 to 2 weeks, i was one of the lucky ones

I'm still waiting on my NOA - no sign of it yet!

Still - at least I have my passport stamped so I'm not too worried.

You will still be fine. There have been a number of VJers who, for one reason or another, were late filing by a few days and they have had no problems. I don't anticipate you having any problems either. Good luck. Which Service Center did you file at?

if they cash the chek , does that means that u are ok if u files couple of days late

please anyone who was late on filing I-751 post your experiances and what happened and the steps taken

thanks alot , at least now i can stop shivering and relax a bit , i also read a pdf saying taht even if filed a bit late , its rarely that app gets rejected

my gc expired on 3/22/2008 , i filed the I-751 on 03/26/2008 and overnight and they got it today, my question is , what will happenes next , am i in trouble couse i was couple of days late , i got my gc through mariage and i am still married , will they deport me and what can i do nect , i stn a letter with my application saying that i didnt recieve a letter from them due to the fact that i changed my address and then sent then a copy of my change of address that i filed with them . please any advice on what to do would be helpful now
