I understand your frustration....

I was approved in March but my card was never ordered.... it took me 5 months to get an answer from the CS. I called 3 times before to be told to wait..... then was able to reach another level of CS and was told to send a I-90

I send in my I-90 in august..... if it taks 6 months..... I will have to go to Charlotte NC to get an infopass and get a stamp in my passport because my I797 is going to expire in October!!!!

I was approved in March 08... Ijust found out after calling.... they forgot to notify me and issue a Green card. I send yesterday my I-90 so I hope to receive my card soon!

i finally called and after10mns to choose the right options I was able to talk to somebody in Customer Service. She transfered me to the higher lever and I was told that my case was approved in March 08. They never issued a card for me!!!!

Now I have to fill in a I90form so that they send me one

I am almost over with my journey and relieved

I have send my I-797C in Agust 07. Received my notice of action in October 2007. Actually I received 2 Notice of action with different numbers. When for fingerprints in dec 07 and since then nothing. I have received the letter saying my green card has been for a year in Oct 07.

I just checked again my status on line

here is what it says

I am wondering if I did not mix up Texas and California. Should I hire a lawyer? SHould I send my whole documents again?

i see some from California have been approved..

I am getting worried.

When I had my biometrics in December in Charlotte, I went with another visajourney. She already received her green card and I have not.

I believe the received it in feb. I called in march to ask about my status and it has not moved. On the net it says it

It has not even updated to the biometric appointment. I called and they told me not to worry that it takes time....so how come my friend has been approved and not me??

I hope they did not loose my file.

Just an update.. I received my letter for biometrics yesterday or today... it is scheduled for 12/15/2007 in Charlotte

I have been lucky as I leave for France on the 17th of december!

Just to let you know and update the information, I have received my NOA on thursday. I have send the correct check amount on the 5th of October, they received it on the 6th .. it took only 3 weeks...

Now I just have to wait for Biometric letter to come!

I can do the fingerprints once I come back from my trip? Or it has to be done before I leave?

Just a quick note..

I did not get NOA yet... they returned my whole pacakge because I send them the wrong check amount..... I am so distracted!!!

I send the package back on october the 3rd... I just hope that I do not go back to the end of the line.... do anybody know if it should take time?

I am freaking out... I am planning to leave for Christmas holidays middle of december and I am wondering if I will have NOA and fingerprints in time for that....

Hi all

I have a question:

I applied and included a check of the amount of 625uds in one check. Today instead of receiving the first NOA I got the big envelop. They send everyything back and the reason why is

" THe correct fee for I 751 is 545usd THis fee includes the petition fee and the biometric fee of 545usd for this petitioner and the biometric fee of 88us for each eligible depedant listed on part 5."

On part 5 of my I-751 there is my daughter. But she is american and does not need green card because born here in the US. I have included birth certificate of my daughter

What should be the correct fee??? I am very confused now

Please help me the whole process, working and me being sick from morning/all day sickness, and taking care of my daughter is starting to affect me....

Betti, don't worry about your trip. Once you have your receipt/NOA1 it says on there that your green card is extended by 1 year. You just need to carry the notice with you on your trip along with the green card and your passport.

I saw yesterday that someone else who was transferred to CSC got an extremely speedy approval - 6 weeks or so from applying. Hope that pattern holds for us all!

Oh I see most of texas has been transfered to California.... maybe if I am lucky I will too... I am waiting anxiously the mail every day...

And I am freaking out... I scheduled a trop to Europe for Christmas... what would dhappened if I do not have the green card?

Will I be able to travel?

We are expecting baby N# 2 for March 2008. We already have a toddler 20month Daphne.

This new pregnancy was a surprise as it took just one time.... call me fertility goodess!!

I have sickness ,,,,, hopefully it will go away in a month

I will be going also home for Christmas!!!!!!!!!!! I am so happy..... I will leave on the 2nd and come back on the 14th of january.

6 weeks in France with family and friends. Plus it will be good because my parents will enjoy seing their grand daughter.

My husband will also come for 2 weeks!!!

I have a twin sister but we do not look alike at all.

However my husband is a twin .. we are afraid that the second baby will turn to be twins... his sister got twins on the second baby....I guess we will have to wait that our first baby is bigger and then we will try for a second one...I will let you know!

I have been following this post and would like to Congratulate the future parents!

Being a new parent also (we have a 6month and 1/2 baby girl named Daphne) I know the adventure can be tireing at the beginning . The more the baby grows the more fun it is!

Good luck and get some sleep before the birth... after that it will be rare
