I emailed the consulate yesterday to see if they would email me Grants interview and checked it this morning when I got to work and it was there YYYYEEEAAAAHHHH!!! It is July 24th!!! I am still currently living at my parents home. Do I need to have my own place ready before my fiance has his interview or should I wait until we do the AOS paperwork? I don't want him to get denied because I don't live on my own. Please help if you can!!!!!!!! Thanks

Hello...I don't believe she can do it herself. Her employer can file for her a green card through employment form you can find on the USCIS.gov web site. Her employer should also know what to do when it comes to that situation. My fiance was here on a H1B visa for 3 years and someone that came with him on the same type of visa ended up meeting and marrying a girl while he was here working. Good Luck to her!!

I don't know which lawyer you used, but, the one I used mailed me all of my original documents back including the I-134 Affidavit of Support along with all original approved NOA's and the actual approved petition. I have to mail them to my fiance in Cape Town. I hope this doesn't hold things up for you. You should try to contact the consulate to see if they have it. Good luck!!!!!

Soon my fiance will be waiting for Packet 3 to arrive, can he go ahead and get his police certificates or does he have proof that he needs them? He will have to travel about 300 miles to get one of them since he has moved in that last 3 years. Just wondering if we could get ahead a little bit.
