  1. My beneficiary is from Taiwan. The PDF fillable field for address has a character limit. I can put this in manually, but if others have experience with this and can utilize other fields to input this? Beneficiary address (sample): 1F., No. 1-1, Aly. 1, Ln. 111, Sec. 1, Amazon E. Rd. In the address field, I can only get it down to: NO1.1 ALY1 LN111 SEC1 AM (character limit reach)
  2. Thank you, this is very helpful. I would put her past VISA info in later forms and not i-129F correct?
  3. hi JeanneAdil, Appreciate your feedback. I had mixed and conflicting information from online videos and others sources. Some say to fill-in as much info as you have available and others state to keep it as simple as you can. Specifically, I was referring to the time on this YouTube Video and section. YouTube K1 i-129f form Reading back, I will follow the script and follow questions 38.a.-38.h. as presented. Even though my fiance has been in the US before in with a Student Visa, would I leave this information out?

  5. I am applying for my fiance as a beneficiary. My fiance was in the US a few years ago on a I-20 Student Visa but is not currently residing in the US now. On form i-129f Edition 03/21/2022 it states that, Questions: 38. He or she last entered as a (for example, visitor, student, exchange alien, crewman, stowaway, temporary worker, without inspection): 38.e. Passport Number: 38.g. Country of Issuance for Passport or Travel Document: 38.h. Expiration Date for Passport or Travel Document (mm/dd/yyyy): My fiance is not currently in the United States, do I leave blank Item Numbers 38.a.-38.h.? My fiance was in the US on a Student Visa before (I-20) and I do have passport information.
  6. Thank you, I was leaning towards this as well. I was given a common romanize name to be easier to pronounce here in the States. I don't believe it was formally legalized, its been 20 plus years now since. Would it be beneficial to include a copy of my Naturalization certificate or would that cause more confusion?
  7. I'm a Naturalized U.S. Citizen. Do I feel out Alien Registration Number (A-Number) on my i-129f? I am the petitioner. I became a U.S. Citizen 30 years ago if that matters. Thanks first!
  8. I am petitioning for my fiance and noticed my name is different on my Certificate of Naturalization. The name I used on my Certificate of Naturalization is now used as my middle name. For example, my Naturalization Certificate shows "John Smith Lee" where Lee is my Family Name. For my passports and my driver license, I use my given name "Michael" John Smith Lee. Should I fill out section 7.a. & 7.b. under Other Names Used with the same exact name on my Certificate of Naturalization? TLDR: My family name is : Lee Name on my Certificate of Naturalization is John Smith Lee Name on my Passport and Driver License is Michael John Smith Lee Would I need to fill the section as Other Names Used? (7.a. & 7.b.) - I have not used this name in any other legal documents. All my documents are either Michael Lee or Michael John Smith Lee (Passport & Driver Licenese) The full name that I wrote on my i-129f is: Family Name: Lee GIven Name: Michael Middle Name: John Smith Thank you first!
