Sorry for the late response, Yes Police certificate is valid only for 3 months, but I believe if you are not living in Bahrain anymore then NVC / Embassy accepts same certificate even if its expired.
No it doesn't take so long for the certificate to be issued I got it within 2 days. I applied for it just few days before we send our documents to NVC because I didnt want to get another one for the US embassy and I hope they schedule my interview before this one expires

hello! is it possible to get a Police certificate if i have no notice from nvc yet? i heard there are some cases that it took them 4 months so im worried and wanted to prepare it ahead of time.
