Everything went really good ,

The officer was the nicest officer I ever meet…

First he ask if we speak English I told him i did and my husband

Only about 60%..Hah.. He was laughing and said good enough

To defend your self….

I was nerves my husband was like nothing….

Then he made us swear .

Then he ask pretty easy question, they were all

The ones in Aos forms.

They ask the questions to my husband…

He was cool and spoke to my husband in Spanish..

I told him about the typo I had in the date of entry. I had put 2006

Instead of 2007.. He said don’t worried that’s not a problem…

Oh my god that made me feel so relived..

Also they didn’t ask for my taxes…

The only question he ask me was.. “where do I work?

“how long”? how much did I make last year?…{that is It} I was thinking

And all he ask to see was my husband passport, ead card, ss card, ID,

that’s all….

Then he pause for a second and didn’t say anything….

I said “that’s it”…

Oh my god I feel like 4th off July…

I mean like it was 4th of July.. Fireworks all over the building….

He said in 2 weeks you should received your green card approval.

And the green card in about 4 weeks..

Interview was about 10 minutes…

My husband want to cry but we hug each other and we

Went to party….at the casino near town..

We didn’t win cash but we won is green card..

That’s what matters….thanks…

did you use direct deposit on your taxes?

i tought i did direct diposit, but i look back to my taxes and i did the next day check with h&r block.

I call them and they said i should received mine by mail because i didnt do direct diposit......!

I did that next day check....

WASHINGTON - Those long-promised tax rebates are now on their way to U.S. taxpayers. People who chose to have their rebates directly deposited into their bank accounts will see the money there beginning Monday. The government's paper checks will start going out on May 9, a week earlier than previously announced.

The extra cash is part of the economic stimulus package intended to help Americans cope with rising gasoline and food prices, as well as aid a slumping economy. The Internal Revenue Service says all checks for those who filed tax returns on time are scheduled to be deposited or mailed by July 11.

President Bush announced last week that the rebates would go out a bit earlier than expected.

My husband got here in October of last year and we married. I applied at the end of January for HOH (head of household), and several weeks later he got his ssn. So i then amended my taxes and am now waiting for them to come back. You need to file for an extention, and then when he gets his ssn file your taxes then. Good Luck!

and it should be 10/02/07 what should i do .

Should i call them or send them a copy of my 485 and let them now i type it incorrect.

or should i make a info pass appointment ....

I didnt receive any thing regarding this typo. on the other application like765 and G325 i have

the correct date..

Yes she can apply for a SSN. Might want to wait for a week or so just to make sure that it has been input into the system though.

you dont really have to wait a week we went the next day.

i notice i have a typo on my 485 what should i do...?

I just had my AOS interview this morning,i almost made it because she told me i was approved and they will send my GC within a week or so,then she was typing something on the computer while interviewing me,she then look at my files again and saw a mistake on my i485,it was my birth date where is said 1982 instead of 1984.so after telling me i was approved and that i can work as sson as i get my GC she then told me that she cannot approve me because my birth date was wrong and they need to do a back ground check.i was on a break down when she said that!so she went back to her computer and was trying to cancel something then she told me how sorry she is about it,.so i went home and talk to my husband about it,now we are very confused because last year when we apply for advance parole they also made a mistake of my birth date,they put 1982 instead of 1984 this is after we apply for my AOS!,then we checked on the USCIS website and this is what we saw.

Do any of you received this type of email after your interview?now we are wondering if she made a mistake of sending it instead of canceling it,or she reversed her desicion?we are all very confused right now.i will go back there on monday to see what happen.
