It is a wonderful Morning here.......
Alhumdulilah.....I heard those 2 wonderful words "CASE COMPLETE" this morning on the automated system. I had to callback to make sure that I wasn't hearing it wrong....lol
So I called my husband and told him the wonderful news, he told me that I made his day......
Everybody here is just great and thanks for all your help.

The message changed when I checked on Saturday (May 17). Yes I got a false RFE and I immediately spoke with an Operator. The Operate told me that the system was waiting on DS-230.

As per the NVC automated phone system, our case was completed on Friday - May 16, 2008.
Thanks to VisaJourney.com forum members, I was able to use NVC on-line payment system to process our case in about 3 weeks!

In my experience, NVC status messages are updated almost daily.
Does anyone know if messages are updated on weekends or if we have to wait ...............til a weekday

Just called NVC this morning and got a 'Your case was completed on May 8th...."
WOO HOO!! Thats only 2 days after I submitted my DS230. I knew it was gonna be lightening fast. EVERYTHING in NVC has been moving so fast for me. So my case was at NVC 45days and I actually lost 7 days waiting for my husbands PC. so I coulda been done in like 38 days or so.
Thanks sooooooo much to all of you VJ'ers I truly love you all and I KNOW this would not have been possible without you. I'm sure I'll have more questions.....so get prepared, haha!! And thank you God for answering all those prayers. Prayer works people you just need to PUSH thru.

If you are able to print the cover sheet online, go ahead and mail it. That is how I zipped through.
hi guysi used the online system to pay AOS fee online 70$.
the payment cleared, money has been deducted from my account
and i am able to print my cover sheet online once i login with iin number
can i mail the AOS packet now.. (affidavit of support) or should i wait
the phone message says they have received the AOS fee...
someone please help in aswering my doubts, i dont want to screw up
-when i mail it, can i mail it in one of those 81/2 by 14 envelopes (orangish ones) and who would i address it to
the NH address we got onour NOA2 hardcopy?

guyssafter siitting and dialing for the past 1.5 hour, i managed to get thru, (845 pm central time)
a nice lady asnwered and gave me the IIN number right away, no questions asked.. and even told me as of today ur ds3032 and aos fee bill was generated
woww.. guys just keep tryin they will eventually give it to you...now im gonaa go pay online the AOS fee..

Don't wait until night time to pay your bill since most maintenance activities take place at night.
Also, I suggest you use Internet Explorer as the browser. I have a feeling the people who had trouble must have used another browser such as firefox.

I suggest you call NVC and get your IIN. In the meantime have the beneficiary email NVC the choice of agent. Don't wait to get anything in the mail. Call the automated system for a status. I noticed the automated system is 2 days behind. Best Wishes.
It could take up to 3 weeks to get the DS-3032 generated. It has happened to many people in the past. -

I suggest you email the choice of agent because it may take about a week for them to respond. In the meantime you should call NVC and get the IIN. Things will move fast from now on.

May 2- Bar-coded cover sheet was available on-line at about 4:00 PM Eastern time.
May 4 - IV Fees Invoice available on-line and paid.

APRIL 19 -i130- approved by USCIS
APRIL 24- NVC receives i130 and case number assigned
UP TILL NOW nothing.. i keep gettin the message "ur nvc case number is xx and please allow 6-8 weeks for beneficiary to receive information"
am i doing somehin wrong? can i still go ahead and email ds3032 choice of agent even though the mesage says nothin about ds3032 being sent out?

Not yet. I thought we'll do that after we get an interview date. I paid the AOS bill yesterday and the status shows paid. Do you know how long before the IV bill will be available online?
What is the status of your K3. Mine was sent to the consulate on April 23. I am hoping to convert the K3 interview to CR1 interview if CR1 gets closed at NVC soon enough.Fire, our I-129F is still pending. That's good one way
You mean, your I-129F approved and already at Chennai. That's great ! I bet CR1 would be the best option for you right now since NVC will close your case in a month or so. But it is up to you
Did you write a letter to U.S Consulate officer at Chennai to hold K-3 interview ???
