  1. Morning - in theory i think it sounds good but i would caution you that there is always the potential to be placed in AP so if you do make any arrangements make sure they are flexible enough that you can remain in London if you were placed in secondary checks for an unknown period of time
  2. Congratulations @Dxstat on receiving your interview notification! Still waiting on mine - not sure if they release them all at the same time/day so iv missed this months batch? Or if they could be releasing them periodically over today for example 🤔 Either way its great to see that things are moving - Congrats again!
  3. Thanks @appleblossom - just thinking of all the scenarios - bit overwhelming knowing its close but also having no way of really knowing whats going to happen in the next few months. My contract job finishes soon so weighing up whether i should just get another short one into the new year and then i have a bit more control over what i doing even if i do get an interview date set for December. Lots to think about which is based off the slight unknown re timings and then ultimately even moving to the US how long it will take to find employment - weighing up all my options, thanks for your help!
  4. Im probably overthinking but is there a world where they dont release interview notifications for this month? I know we are waiting for the end of this month in the hopes they do but could it be that they skip october and instead only do them from November - or even at all this year?
  5. Has anybody else received this today? At my interview ill be updating the officer that since my application im now a UK citizen - so not personally concerned that ill face delays by going through the London consulate. Iv seen some conflicting information on reddit with people saying that they have been advised to contact NVC - even if they want to remain in London - through to people like myself who interpret it to mean i can ignore it and carry on with London. I wanted to get the opinions here based on anybody elses experiences or understanding of this Ultimately im taking it to be that they are working on allocating interview slots and we should have this through soon
  6. Yes im just glad that it wasnt retrogressed because of this
  7. @syvvs, the scheduling tool has been updated - its not showing any changes from last month, still on March 25
  8. Nothing will happen until after the new year has started on 1st october
  9. Im EB2 NIW - no job lined up. I didnt think there was much point if my interview isnt long after the contract ends (perhaps the wrong take to have?)
  10. Hey@appleblossom i just wanted to pick your brain. Since my approved petition iv left the role i was doing and am now contracting. It will be likely my contract will have finished by the time i have an interview (if this is in say December). My current role is in a more senior position, pay is higher and i have more responsibilities. It's in the same field which my petition fell under and my job title for example demonstrates this. In preparation for the interview and being that i will be finishing my current position in the next 6 or so weeks what should i bring to the interview? I have my contract and the job description but do you think the officers will need anything else? Should i ask HR to provide a letter of reference or is what i currently have enough? I can bring payslips etc though im sure they are more interested in the actual responsibilities i have rather than my monthly take home pay?
  11. Yes I’ll keep you posted when I get mine, hopefully they do it early October for an IL in December atleast!
  12. Hey @iaiyam1, have you had your interview or notification of your date yet?
  13. You use this tool - https://travel.state.gov/content/travel/en/us-visas/visa-information-resources/iv-wait-times.html#:~:text=The Immigrant Visa (IV) Scheduling, specific U.S. embassy or consulate Just select the employment preference and enter London - this is a new tool but they seem to update it early in the month Sorry correction to my earlier post they are doing March not April
  14. Hey @Adamson12, they have only just announced they are processing interviews for those with DQ dates of April 2025. Your close, you'll probably get a notification in October if not earlier. Either way you shouldnt have to wait too much longer
  15. That’s great to see @iaiyam1!! Very relieved to see it was a short retrogression. Hopefully you get your IL notification soon, likely in October I’m guessing. Definitely keep us posted, I’m hoping they reverse the FAD retrogression and I’m current again come October
