hi beauty2783. you can bring the albums just in case u face the consul and he/she asks for more pictures for proofs then u can show them.(its always better to be ready than sorry) u may be asked to flip the pages of the albums telling a short description, like where and when were they taken. but on the filipino prescreener, he/she would only asks for few more pics(so make sure u give whatever is not included on the petition ur fiance sent when he applied for your I-129f coz those are already in their possession when they interview u). if i may suggests (based on my experience, where in i placed the pics in a folder but i end up just flipping the pages becoz somehow he just asks for few pics only), glue the pics in a bond paper, back to back around 5 pages. choose pics you and him with family, with friends or even sweet pics of you together. then becoz the bond papers are very thin, they will easily bend and slip to the slot of the window of the prescreener. ill describe the slot for u so u will have an idea. estimate only (it is 16 inches wide but only 1 inch thick. so imagine if your folder is more than 1 inch, it will not go through the slot) so anything u submit is not necessarily thick, becoz the window slot is not a flat surface, its curved hmmm its hard to explain, but im trying hehehe... your folder must be very soft so it would bend going thru the slot) so thats why i suggest you just glue the pics in a bond papers coz they would bend easily.
keep the faith-Loterly
thanks for this great infor Lot.. I have heard many times that the window slot is very small but i have not heard it to be curved till now... my album refills (those that you buy per piece) would be very thin but they are not entirely bendable.... now what you wrote about this curved opening makes me reconsider pasting my montages it in a specialty paper now. Thank you again for this great info and for all the other great info that you share here. KUDOS to you!
ure welcome dbears. i woudl really love to inform everyone and answer their questions with regards to the interview, so im thinking of meeting those who live within metro manila and describe to them personally how that infamous window really looked like and aswell as answer all their concerns. so anyone u know who wants to call me who is having their interview soon, they can talk to me over the fon. here is my landline number 4130081 (u may call me lot). dont hesitate to call, ill help as much as i can. ill entertain all the calls while im still in the philippines
keep believing-Loterly
just to be safe bring them all...

All I know is the Maximum Document Verification is 3 months...
Have you called the Embassy lately xps?
I called this morning and Grace said the visa was released at 5 PM Monday. I want to see visa in hand before I believe it. And Grace said to check visa for mistakes.
I called the USEM last week they told me that the maximum time for Document Verification is 3 months and it will never exceed...

Hi Everyone -
My husband's company doesn't provide a print out or hard copy of their employees Certificate of Employment. Hence, he's unable to provide me with one. He told me that at the time he requested for a copy of his COE, their HR just sent him an email that includes a contact number and company code to which the inquiry on employment verification can be done / requested.
My worry is if the print-out copy of this email will be accepted by USEM if in case they require me to present his COE. Along with this, my husband also sent me a copy of his Compensation Worksheet Management that reflects his immediate manager's name, his designation, the department he's assigned to and his annual compensation with additional details on the benefits he's getting. This is printed out using their company letterhead. I also have here the copies of his W2s from November 2007 to January 2008 plus his ITRs from 2005 - 2007.
Do you think this documents are enough to prove his employment? Your insights on this will be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Please ADD...
I had my Certificate of Employment and Affidavit of support "NOTARIZED" in the USA and also give them a copy of PAY-CHECKS...

I think you did not get my point. When you get in the airport its the custom and immigration job to check all your things. I remember when I was in the airport they confiscated some item and hold the passenger for questioning in Detroit...
Do you think that there is no custom official in the airport? If your answer is no! well we got a problem. So everybody will bring pirated and fake bags...
You can be deported or hold in the airport for a long time. Would you take a risk?
I think its you that arent getting my point. See post #9 where I said yes, I would take the risk. Also on that same post, read where I said... It is not an advise, or suggestions. Simply an opinion. Apparently, people cant have an opinion on the issue of bringing one fake LV bag to your POE.
But what I really find hilarious is.. This thread just wont die! LOL Especially after But I've also said on this thread that I understand you can never be too careful.
ohh well, I will let you bring some Pirated DVD and fake Bag one time. I think your just lucky. I remember my dad when he get back here from manila. The immigration and the custom told him that his the luckiest man for today because their doing a RANDOM CHECK! and his the lucky one that the computerize machine pick for whole check and inspection. They check all his things even search his whole body and they bring him in the room for interrogation. What I said you never know when is your bad day.

I'm sorry to say this but you are wrong! You never-ever bring fake items specially first timer... Do you want her get deported?
I'm watching Balitang America and Citizen Pinoy they have case like that. They got deported because they bring some DVD pirated and Fake louie vuitton bag...
Well... I'm not actually totally wrong. (At least I think I'm not) It is not immigrations job to check the authenticity of items, such as your bag and wallet, you're carrying. If anyone has any interest if the bag you're carrying is fake or not, it might be customs. But I doubt its immigration.
Also, I've been goin back and forth from Manila to US in the last 25 years. I've never seen immigration check and says... hey... that T-shirt you're wearing looks fake. Or that bag you're carrying looks like a knock off.
I'm not advocating people bring knock offs. What I said was "It'll be fine". I think people are acting like the OP is bringing four 70 lbs boxes of Louis Vuitton items.
Anyway, I should reword or re-phrase what I said earlier about bringing a fake bag. If I were the OP, I would do it, bring it, not think about it. I mean. it's a bag!!
Its not an advise, nor a suggestion. Simply an opinion.

hi to all
i just want to know if allowed to bring hand carry imitations travel bag like gucci or prada in the airport?THANKS
It should be fine.
Immigration's job is to check the authenticity of your travel documents. Not the authenticity of the the items you're carrying like your bag or wallet.
Have a safe trip!

We got the visa last 2 weeks ago but the embassy left a big scar in my memories. I don't know if I'm happy or mad or sad. I would say that the people who works on the embassy specially the Filipino/Pinay have no heart or no feelings. You are asking a question but their the one who is mataray.
Patawarin kayo ng panginoon sa ginawa nyo.
Anyway Hello America here I come!!!!
bye VJ this will be my last post. Hope my experience will help other people that Life is full of trials but in the end you live happy ever after...
