mine was completed on July 15, 2009 and was forwarded to USEM on July 17. I called the USEM IV call center and they said the cases (CR1/CR2) are already in the system and will just have to wait for the appointment letter. Drives us nuts to wait

Hi VJers, I am a CR1 filer and have a 2 yr old son. My case has completed NVC on May 15, 2009. We have filed a separate petition for my son last Feb. 2009 and his papers are also at NVC now. I have only received an IV bill for him by mail on April 27, 2009 and already paid the $400 online, but not the AOS bill since I hvent received any mail or email about that. NVC sent me an email today containing a checklist saying they have received the DS230 that they have requested and are still waiting for the AOS form I-864 processing fee of $70. It was also said that I shouldnt pay the fee if I havent received any AOS fee bill by mail or email.

Now I have also read the I-864W form, do I submit that together with my son's checklist instead of the I-864 since he is under 18 yrs of age at the time of admission or adjustment of status as stated in the instructiions. I am totally confused.

Please help me here.

Our NVC case was completed on May 15, 2009. We are now preparing for the documents needed for the CR-1 interview though we don't know the interview date yet. Here are the questions:

1) What kind of documents do I need to bring to the interview?

2) Do you have any tips?

Such a big difference between two centers? Seems like Vermont center is sleeping!! Does someone know why they are so slow? and why California faster?

Hi guys,, im so happy to find this thread , we submitted our k3 petition ( I-130 ) approximately 3rd week of October.. but sad that we havent received our NOA1 yet... does it really take that long?.. its driving me nuts...

hi everyone.... My husband already sent the I-130 last July 30. Hopefully we can hear some good news.... God be with all of us girls.

OUR TIMELINE:

07-04-08 - Wedding Day

07-09-08 - Hubby went back to CO to fix papers

07-30-08 - Sent I-130 ( mixed emotional stress came along with this whole visa process thing )

My husband received the NOA1 hard copy today....

I just updated our status....

My husband is to file our I-130 tomorrow hopefully... Praying that everything goes on smoothly... This is really nerve-wracking.. from start to finish... ,,, Its going to be great to meet new people here... I rarely open this site but since we are filing and there's a lot of help here I would be here more often than not lol!
