I have once concern, when does USCIS does background check? They does on i130 or ds260. This is because I went to Canada for studying but I had few interactions with the canadian police forces. I guess I have record in their databases. I researched it online and it came out that person can erase record after 3 years of the incident. So, I applied for green card of USA and my i130 is in processing and USCIS website saying that processing will take 5 or more years. So, wondering what to do.... Please help.
