My APD was approved in July 2023 but was mailed to the incorrect address. Despite several service requests and letters, I have yet to obtain my document. In a few days, I'll meet with the local field office to request emergency travel document to attend my uncle's funeral. I was informed I had to provide proof that my uncle and I are related. Has anyone had any advice on what USCIS considers acceptable proof of familial relations. My cousin whose father passed away is willing to write me a letter confirming we are related and that her father is deceased. Does anyone have any suggestions as to what my cousin can write in the letter. I really don't want to miss another family member's funeral.
