Pls help...Im preparing my 1-485 and I dont know my A#...how to find that? another thing is my 1-94 #, is that the OMB No or departure number? Thank you and God Bless.
A# is on NOA2 in Beneficiary Box, and I-94 is the nine numbers, should be stapled on your passport.

Strange because even in the I-485 instructions it indicates the filing fee and biometrics fee can be combined
I am ready to write the check and send the AOS packet today! So, is it better to write two checks, not just one? Please help....
follow the link Link Look on Page 8 under What is the filing fee, fifth paragraph down it says and I quote "You may submit one check or money order for both the application and biometrics fees, for a total of $1010.
THANK YOU!!!!

I am confused please help regarding AOS
My fiance arrived on 08/19/2008 and her k1 visa expiration date was 11/12/2008. We got married on 10/24/2008 which is before 90 days deadline. We didn't apply for AOS yet because of the high fee and now I am preparing my forms. Recently I read somewhere to apply as soon as possible before k1 visa expiration and I didn't know. Did I mess up? please help
Thanks
I am in the same boat as you! Just started the paperwork today, do anybody knows, if you have to submit I-130+fees along with the AOS packet too?

I just noticed something on the new Packet 3 checklist that has me a little concerned.
For the I-134 Affidavit of support, it asks for a copy of the Petitioner's Passport. I did include a copy of my biographical page and Thai entry stamps with the I-129F petition copy I gave my fiancée. However, I did not include the cover nor every single page. Would what she have ben sufficient, or should I be rushing her a copy of every page of my passport? Would scanned and printed copies be sufficient? Boy, as prepared as we've been, can always have a wrench thrown in the gears.
Any advice, especially from recent interviewees would be most appreciated.
Just a copy of the first page (your name and picture) of the passport. But, you need to send I-134 and police record both must be orginal forms. Make copies for your own records.....otherwise, you're good to go...DON'T WORRY!

My fiancee and I might be taking a trip to Thailand together, in a couple months. We both know very little about the place, except all the tropical paradise, bananas, cashews, and elephants stereotypes. What is a good place in Thailand to go? We will probably pick one place (close to a beach), and just relax there for the whole time. We don't want to travel a lot. Is English widely understood? Or just in the tourist areas?
Depending on how long you are planning on staying in Thailand, and of course your budgets. Phuket and Ko Samui are both great destinations, beautiful beaches. (Only a hop away..BANGKOK AIRWAY) But, I would recommend Ko Chang...the island is still developing and not too crowded...yet! also, Hua Hin is a great to relax and visit close to Bangkok.
As for Bangkok...go to the old part of the city near the Grand Palace...China Town, next to the river there are many small restaurant stalls authentic Chinese and Thais dishes! HEN HAO CHI!!!

I created a Thailand specific Packet 3 checklist for myself and others. Can you review it and make some suggestions?

Thanks for all replies...my girlfriend decided to just "write it" instead of typing it on the computer. Packet 3 was send back to the Embassy last Friday. (could of send it sooner but she was waiting for my W2 to be send with the packet).
She just received Packet 4 with the interview date on 24 February.
VISA APPROVED!!!!! 24 FEB 09, SHE WILL PICK UP HER PASSPORT/VISA 26 FEB 09

My girlfriend have recently received the Packet 3 from the US Embassy in Bangkok. She don't have access to computer and a printer to complete the forms requested by the embassy. Are there any visa assistance and clerical service in Bangkok that can help her?

Hello, my first post here, been lurking about for the past 3 months now, but I have been picking up so much valuable information and helpful hints on filing my own K1 petition. And today, I just spent I-129F for K1! Hopefully everythings will turn up ok. Thanks all for helping me with my first hurdle through the K1 processing track...

We just received the approval letter (08/17/2011) and a "new" Permanent Resident greed card today!!! thanks for all the help & support from everybody here at VisaJourney. Good luck and speedy approval for all also.
FYI, NOA letter for approval was from the local office here in Las Vegas. Not many here from the same (city/timeline), maybe that is why its was faster?
