My wife is now here in the US with my daughter and we have an interview for AOS in July in SF California it says bring medical exam paperwork in sealed envelope unless already submitted.
She had a medical exam in Manila before the interview at the US embassy.
Does she need another exam? they sent us to a biometrics appt a couple months ago here
she has a work card and advanced parole already
please shed some light on this for me

Hi,
I was reading over a post : http://www.visajourney.com/forums/index.ph...ost&id=4619
And the last few words have me a bit worried...
"I asked some of them why it took so long and it's either there are some documents missing or the age gap is too big."
What is this about age?? I was under the impression that age was of little consequence.
I am older than my fiancée and now I am worried that there may be problems that will result in a failed interview.
What can anyone tell me about this?
Thanks
GWN
At my fiances interview the screener said to my fiance after she asked me to walk away from the window "this man is 60 years old how can you love him?" my fiances answer was "he is not 60 he is 47 and i love him" i don't think i look that old in fact i am told i look younger than my age.
She (fiance) asked me why did she say this to her. all i could come up with is she was testing her to make sure she knows my true age i was not allowed into the interview but i was not worried because i know she loves me and that will show in interview she was approved with no problems and she should have her visa in hand in the next few days ....... interview was 10/20/08............... she is 23

HI I have just started my K1 process I found the letter of intent on this site and used it. The lawyer i am using wants a more detailed letter from both of us.
Is this necessary? I like how this letter is short and to the point.
They think i need to go into how we met, where we met, why we met, etc
This info is on the I-129F question 18
I thought the letter of intent was just that.
My letter is not a problem hers will take some time to get because they want originals.
So what are they really looking for? and what works?
Thank you

Any suggestions on petitioning the daughter of my wife's sister?
would it be easier for us to adopt her first if this is possible?
She is in the Philippines she is about 4 years old.
I am just looking for a starting place.
Would it be easier for her to petition her sister and the children.
