  1. Ive played with the timeline search option a bit and I think I figured out how this was calculated but definately has a huge variation (Im a scientist btw and wont accept anything I cant figure out). This gives me some hope but I will admit that at this point I jump on anything that is even slightly encouraging.

I have a job interview in Canada this weekend so I get to see my husband but it says something that Im looking at leaving a job working for the US govt to be with my husband.

  2. I was looking at the progress on the timeline page

    http://www.visajourney.com/timeline/

On the right side is the approximate dates that the centers are processing

    I-129F for K3

    CSC: Feb 5, 2008

    VSC: Jan 21,2008

    I-130 for K3

    CSC: January 18, 2008

    VSC: January 28, 2008

Ive been watching this for a while now and it appears to me that while CSC is slowly moving on both of them, VSC is only moving on the I-129F.

This may be an effort to get to the same place as CSC so that I-129f is approved first unlike recently when people are only getting I-130 from VSC.

Just an observation, and was wondering if anyone else had noticed the same thing.

  3. You have my prayers Dave, I want to be with my husband more than anything. This system seems broken on so many levels. Ive had two touches on my 129F and I received a call from my congressman's office last night to inform me that Vermont may or may not have lost my I-130. I have the receipt number and it is showing as pending on the USCIS website but when my congressmans office called to check on it, they couldnt find it. I am supposed to wait while they determine if I have to resubmit it. Ive already heard of Vermont losing other peoples paperwork. My patriotism is taking some serious blows as I see more and more examples of inept people and an inept system.

  4. Touch showing again on 3/28/08, two touches in two days on my I129F, not sure what to make of this. According to the new processing dates they are working on much earlier ones than mine. My NOA1 wasnt until this month because I had forgotten a signature the first time I sent it and they sent it back to me. Im so hoping this is good news, the waiting is so hard.

  5. Cheers for small steps, got email notification of NOA1 for the 129-f part of my petition today. So we are waiting on NOA2 for both now. Any thoughts on how long its going to be, the processing times on USCIS site say they are on AUG 15th but the predicted time of NOA1 to NOA2 for VSC is 50 days on this site?
