  1. thanks for the info aisha..but the thing is i talked to an operator this friday and found out that my interview is on aug 7th..so neither I nor my hubby has as yet received the appointment letter...and only three weeks are left...i was reading on VJ that once the automated msg changes to "case forwarded...", it means that the docs have been mailed to all concerned parties...but that hasnt happened with us yet...so i guess i'll talk to an operator abt this..

best of luck with ur husband's medical.

    hey all,

my interview is on the 7th august, InshAllah and my medical appointment is on 17th July (which is tomorrow)almost three weeks in advance of my interview date..

is my medical appointment too early??shud i get it rescheduled at a later date?

also i havent yet received my interview letter (and neither has my automated msg at nvc changed to "case forwarded to isl embassy")..but the receptionist, who made the appointment, said that i could bring any document that had my case number on it..since they only required a written proof...i was wondering whether i should wait for my interview letter and then go for my medical?

quick replies will be appreciated

    hi fkh,

my husbands medical is tomorrow ( july 17th) in Islamabad , ( his interview July 31st) so he was getting everything that is needed for that together. He finally received his interview letter on July 11th and it was sent out on June 11th fron nvc, so it was a month getting it to him from NVC. If you haven't received your interview letter , you could have your better half, scan it and send to you and you could get it printed out. I've heard of others doing that, so it is worth a try.

As soon as my husband lets me know how his medical went and stuff, I will try and post it after I hear from him......insha allaah. Or sometime tomorrow. I know it is his medical, but still will be wide awake till I hear from him ya know.

    Wishing everyone the best

    Aisha

Please make sure all your timelines are filled in PLEASE!!!!!!!!!

  3. hello everyone

v finally submitted our ds 230 a few days back and was hoping to hear 'case complete' but instead got the RFE on the automated messaging, so i talked to an operator and found out that the original marriage certificate is missing...

i submitted a certified copy of the marriage certificate issued by the proper authority as per the guidelines on nvc's website...so i am confused why i got the rfe??? did this happen to anyone else?...wud i HAVE to wait for the checklist letter to send the original (if so how long will this delay the case?) or should i again talk to the operator and tell them its a certified copy and that it shud be ok according to their rules!

    plz help...thanks :)

  4. hi all,

    I have a query regarding the I 864.

We submitted our I-864 today. But my husband's employment letter states that his job will be terminating in June 2008 and these days he is in the process of looking for another job. He will inshAllah get a job soon, but will the NVC ask my husband that who will support me (his wife) after June 2008? and will this cause any delays in our case?

any information will be deeply appreciated!

    Thanks

  5. hi everyone!

i have a question regarding ds3032......my husband (USC) sent me the scanned copy of the ds3032 so that we could file it early...but when i print the doc, the bar code comes out blurred...my question is: is it very important that ur bar code be clear? and secondly, if i paste my own bar code (which i'll generate by using the james short) on the doc, will this cause any problems, RFEs or delays at the nvc?..

any help will be appreciated..thanks :)

p.s. we didnt want to use the email method to send the ds 3032

  6. hi everyone!

I am a newbee, although i have been following this thread for quite some time now.

My husband and I are august filer..finally got our NOA2 smile.gif

I wanted to clarify one thing abt the ds3032:

i want to appoint my husband(my petitioner) as the agent in the ds3032 form, but he will be moving to another state in abt 4 months...will a change of address create any delays/confusions/RFEs in the future? also, if an address change poses no hurdles, how can i inform the NVC of the change in address, when my hubby moves?

    Thanks

congratulations on ur NOA 2!!!! ur so luckyyyy.... i dont think it wil cause aan issue you wil have to call up uscis and make sure the addres gets changed in ur info... can iask wat was ur service center where u filed.. and when did you file ur i-130??

thanks for the quick reply! :).. we filed at Vermont Service Center in late august.
