  1. Hi! congrats! In my case, I had my interview on a Monday, on Wednesday it showed ready, and on Thursday I got my passport back! hope this helps
  2. Hi! Thank you! My PD became current on December, and the next month, specifically on January 5th a received my IL, my embassy was Bogota, I am from Venezuela, but our embassy is closed. The only change was that it said “In transit” on the CEAC site! And near the appointment it said “Ready”
  3. no, not at all! But she attended just because I didn’t have anyone else to take care of her!
  4. Hello everyone! I updated my visa timeline i had my interview on 02/26 everything went smoothly! only related questions about my proposed endeavor and past visits to the US I have a 5 year old that was born in the US with my tourist visa due to a complication in my pregnancy, so they asked about that time I stayed there but nothing further! thank you for everything we’re all set with our Immigrant Visas! good luck to you all
  5. Congrats!!!!
  6. Congrats! That is awesome! I’m kinda nervious about my appointment also but my lawyer assured me that they do not have the jurisdiction to question the approval of the I140, and that the interview is practically just to make sure that you are who you said you were in your application and make sure that u haven’t had any problems in the US before this time! good luck with everything and safe travel! 😁
  7. Nop that just means that your case is at the Embassy! It has nothing to do with medicals! My case is ready since Jan 10 and my medical is Feb 19th, my interview is Feb 26th! Hope this helps!
  10. My country of origin is Venezuela, the letter says the Appointment is in Caracas but our embassy is closed! I assume the appointment will take place in Bogota in that case because they’re currently taking care of the US visas of Venezuelans! Tomorrow I’ll have a chat with my lawyer about that!
  11. Yes I also received the same one! They have changed a little bit, they used to say DQ but not anymore don’t know why! My parents got a IR5, and it said DQ 🤷🏻‍♀️.
  12. It would be really helpful if you fill out your timeline, so we and other future members can compare! when was your PD, NVC DQ and When did your IL came? thank you!
