    I came to the U.S. 1 year ago, and immediately after I received my green card, I joined the military. After almost 2 months of training, I received my citizenship. I am now planning to petition my mother using IR5, but I am here to ask people with similar experience. Living in the dorms, how would it affect my petition? Can I add my mother as a dependent to DEERS? Is this even possible at all?
