Hello, I read some scary article saying that people who dont have biometrics done could be kicked out. I am not sure specifically if fingerprints were provided during the sealed police report so its unclear to me if this is something I have to proactively scheduled for my wife and stepson (who were awarded greencards and have entered the USA). I have looked on the uscis portal and there only seems to be a reschedule request. There are no upcoming or past requests for biometrics. Is this a thing were I should keep a look out in my mail incase its requested, what am I supposed to do? They will request it if its needed or am I missing something?

In case anyone in the future reads this, you have to have your DOS case number and Alien Registration number. The A number is listed as 'registration number' on the Greencard stamp WITHOUT a A. God bless and good luck.

No I guess that is the problem, how can I pay it if I don't have the paper with the instructions of where to pay?

Hello, My wife and son had their IR1 awarded, passports stamped and have entered the country. When this was awarded, I thought that I got a paper that gave instructions to request the physical greencard and submit another payment, but it has been a few months. I found a printout that suggested they would just mail me the physical green card within 1-8 months. Do I need to request the physical green card or just wait? I'm getting a little nervous because I thought this had to be requested within 6 months of the award. I understand that if I were to move then I would need to update the address. When I go to the USCIS site it just either forwards me to the webpage articles about filing for a green card or ordering a lost green card. Am I missing something? How can I request help, when I got to the USCIS to request help on the webpage, there are just some generic choices like request a lost greencard but I can't even message with someone. Thanks in advance for any advice.
