We had our interview in Detroit two days ago and we got approved on the spot! I am so happy!!! She stamped my passport also because she said that USCIS is changing their computers and the card production will take a little longer. It was so easy and we were in and out in 20 minutes. Now we can relax for the next two years...

I know I usually don't post anything. I just wanted to let everybody know, that I received my interview letter in the mail yesterday.

We had to change our first interview because we moved to Michigan. I was so worried it would take forever to receive a new date, but we have our interview on May 16th!! YEAHHHH!!

I will let you know how it went.

I had my interview yesterday and it went great!!! The people in Frankfurt are really nice and I was done by 09.15h (2 hours) . I had plenty of time to get my Medical done afterwards.

Hey, we have an interview appointment on July 10th!! I will also have to do my Medical on the same day, after my interview. Does anybody have experience with that? My appointment for the interview is at 7.30h in the morning.

Hi, well, I got a Notice from Frankfurt, saying they received our approved Petition. It's not the Package 3 yet, since it's only on piece of paper. I will wait a couple more days and if it doesn't come, I will write them an E-Mail. Or maybe you can tell me if it's normal to get a notice before you get the Package?

Now I have one question. I went through the checklist you can print out at the Embassy Webpage. I have all the documents ready. Now, do I have to get the police certificate translated also? That's the only thing that is in German.

Hey ya'll, I'm sure this has been asked here a couple of time, but I can't find it....again . Our Petition was approved on April 30th and we received the hardcopy on May 2nd. How do we know when the NVC received our case? Do I have to call or will they notify my fiance by E-Mail or will he get a letter? I saw the phonenumber in the guides and read, to call two weeks after approval. Just wondering if they will send something out also. Thanks!

we had an RFE also and it only took two weeks from the day they received our responce to the day of the approval. I wish you the best of luck, that it won't take too much longer!!

Last night we received the approval E-Mail, saying they sent the NOA2 out on April 30th. We are soo happy!!

We sent our Petition on Jan 30th also and received NOA1 on Feb 8th. Maybe we'll get lucky soon too....

Thank you for all the replies. I'm still hoping we will get the NOA2 soon. We decided last night, that my fiance will come see me in Germany. That way we won't have the problem with immigrations or the interview. Who knows, maybe we get lucky and he'll be here when I have the interview appointment. That would be so great.

I'm sure this questions has been asked tons of times, but I couldn't find it anywhere

I would like to go see my fiance in the US again. I was thinking about the end of May. Our estimated timeline to get the approval for the I129F is the 4th of May as of today.

Will I have trouble to enter the States? I read it helps to take like a letter from the employer or something that shows that you intend to leave again.

We would just really like to see each other again ( as you all understand ) and cut up the waiting a little....

(Apologies for encroaching on Mox) To the immigration people, "expedite" is for Cuban applications, emergency asylum applications, military applications, and (only for the very few) TRULY emergent personal circumstances (life-or-death matters, if even those!). Mox may have a more complete explanation.

Why would a military application be expedited over any others?

I've been checking our case at the USCIS Webpage, but how will I know it's been touched? All it says is "Case received and pending".

I posted our timeline also and will update it as soon as we know more :-)

Hey, we're February filer also. We received the NOA1 on February 13th, dated the 8th. How do you see if your file was touched? I just found this Webpage last week and it's just awsome!
