Seems unfair that Vermont was slow for our I-130 and is now slow for our I-751. Hopefully they will transfer us to Califronia again.
I know! driving me crazy

Hi There Friends,
Sorry for a delayed post. I did get my Biometrics done at Austin USCIS office.. Believe me it was the quickest Goverment process done ever. We were in and out in about 5 Mins. They got me in, I filled the form & in less then 2 minutes i was called for the photo and then fingerprints. All done in 5 mins....
Now waiting for the big good news soon.... Hope things are rollong good for all of you out there in the same process.
Good Luck To all,
Amrit & Rob
The one on Lakeline? (that's the one I went to) So easy and fast

I am getting ready to send in my I-751 and I know at one point I saw I had to send in finger prints and then I re-read it and thought I had to wait for the Biometrics appointment? Now I am reading it again and I need to send in finger prints and passport pictures?
I am so confused at this point, or maybe going crazy - or both
Can someone help me out?
I was thinking I just needed to fill out the I751 form, copy my green card both sides and send in money and evidence. Then I would get a letter telling me where and when to get finger prints done?
Or do I send in I-751 filled out, copy of green card, evidence, 2 passport photos and finger prints that need to be done by the Embassy, consolate USCIS office or miltary installation?

I networked before I left my old job
I work for an big insurance company that is in the US and Canada, so I was lucky
I had set up a few things from Canada before I left
so when I got here within a week I had 2 interviews and I got a job
I actually start on Tues

I am pretty much the same - tho I "talk aka write" here less than I do in RL - I can talk your ear off in RL!

grew up just south of London - when I left Canada I was living in Toronto

I am going to import my car next week.
I have the letter of compliance, registration and insurance papers. Anything else I need?
Just to be more clear - this is stuff I did after I crossed the border
at the border I just gave them my compliance letters (one from Honda Canada and one from Honda USA)
my original bill of sale
ownership (I think?)
when you cross make sure they fill out a HS7 for you, they filled out some other paper that was totaly wrong and told me to mail one to the Secretary of State?
I have no idea about that and I still haven't done that =p

My thoughts exactly! I'm a roller coaster junkie. I'm so sad I won't be able to go to Cedar Point this year... And Facebook is great!
The leaving Canada thing hasn't really hit me yet... but that post was damn funny.
I love Cedar Point!!! and I love FB
and yeah - I hear ya - leaving Canada hasn't really hit me yet - tho it's only been 2 weeks - might have to give it longer than that, I kinda still feel like I am on vacation because I don't start my job till Tues
