  1. Air21 only and then you only pay for the visa delivery when you pass your interview at the USEM. There is no document verification anymore do neither Air21 or Delbros get paid for that sincce it is not done.

so i don't have to pay for anything and my fiance just go for her interview and once she pass she just paid for the delivery? So CENOMAR is only the one she need?

  2. HI everyone

I am interested to know what exactly about DELBROS and AIR21 because based on the forum at vj it say's that no longer Delbros. So when i do the payment where should am i suppose to pay DELBROS or AIR21? i just don't want to waste time and money so any info would be greatly appreciated. Thank's in advance

  3. Hi

I am interested to know what exactly to do about the engagement ring, because i proposed to my Fiance through online now shall i send it to her through FedEx or just wait for her to get here or the U.S Embassy will ask her on her interview why shes not wearing her engagement ring? Is that a big deal if shes not having it? Any suggestion i will appreciate it. Thanks in advance.

Does she really need it ASAP? I mean, you're already engaged... :) Can't she just get it prior to the Interview? You're not going to see her before the interview? I've read posts on VJ where the OP said it was not a problem she/he didn't have the ring yet. Some people even take them off cuz the embassy is in a unsafe area of the city(robbery). She can def. go to the interview without the ring! It's not like they don't know you two met online....

Right now shes in Mexico City working but soon she will be going back in Philippines. And thank you so much i appreciate

My advice is be very careful sending valuable item to Philippines. My fiance now husband sent me an engagement Diamond ring before but the customs won't release it they asked 40,000 pesos from me and even told me that every week they will increase the amount! when infact my husband paid everything here in US.We were so angry and decided just to move on and forget the ring. It's not a big deal at the embassy if she won't have any.The important is you are both ready and you got plenty of evidence of relationship.Goodluck to both of you.

Thank you so much i appreciate. That's what also worried me and plus right now my fiance still in Mexico City ( Latin America) working. Thank you

  5. Hi

I am interested to know if anyone can recommend a health insurance plan for my fiance. My job does not cover dependents and i want my lady to be covered when she arrives. Are there any types of health plans for new fiance arrivals? My wife to be does plan on working after she gets a work permit, so I would probably only need it for 1 year and for emergency purposes. Are there any websites to check out? Any info would be greatly appreciated.

    thanks in advance

    Greetings fellow journey members

Does my filipina fiance need to get a baranguay clearance if she already has a NBI clearance?

Is there any instance she will need the barangauy clearance in addition to the NBI?

She has worked outside the Philippines for the last 8 years. SHe is in the process of getting police clearances for those countries and was just wandering about the baranguay clearance since she is not currently in the philippines but is going back once we receive our NOA2

    Thank you in advance

  8. Will my fiance have enough time to get this clearance after we receive the NOA2?

It seems like they need proof before you can submit the documents they require.

I am worried my fiance will run out of time if she waits for the NOA2.

What is the best way to obtain this document?

Any feedback would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance for your help

  9. thank you for your replies. May god bless you.

    Lebanon

    Police and Prison Records

Available. The "Judiciary Police Record" is issued by the Judiciary Police Department, Internal Security Forces, Minister of the Interior. It does not contain any information about any political activities or affiliation to any terrorist, military, or illegal organization. It only shows any final court decision, final conviction and/or court sentence.

After completing his/her sentence, an individual could request that the Ministry of Justice remove the sentence from his "Judiciary Police Record" after three to ten years, depending on the type of crime. In 1992, the Lebanese Government issued a "General Amnesty" for all crimes committed before 1991. Also, in 1996 the Lebanese Government issued a "General Amnesty" to all drug charges-related crimes committed before 1994.

The criminal records are indexed and in alphabetical order. They include, in addition to the individual's name, the number and place of each individual's place of civil registration. The "Judiciary Police Record" is issued in Arabic and signed by the Chief of the Judiciary Department.

To obtain the "Judiciary Police Record", the individual who is physically present in Lebanon, must personally apply, accompanied by his/her Lebanese identity card to the Police Record Department, Internal Security Forces, Ministry of Interior. The document will be issued within 48 hours.

For those residing outside Lebanon, the request must be processed through Lebanese embassies/consulates, but applicants may experience extremely long waiting periods before they receive the document, or may not receive them at all. The "Judiciary Police Record" may also be requested through a lawyer having a power of attorney from the individual authorizing the request. The "Judiciary Police Record" presented by an individual does not mean that the individual is clear. It just states that "this person does not have any court sentence against him".

    Singapore

    Police Records

Available. The police records for Singapore may be considered complete from their origins to the present, except for the "occupation" period during World War II.

Applicants residing in Singapore should apply in person for a "Certificate of No Criminal Conviction" (CNCC) at Criminal Record Office (CID), Block D #02-01A, 391 New Bridge Road, Police Cantonment Complex, Singapore 088762, phone number 65-6435-8277, between 9:00 a.m. to 12 noon, Monday through Friday only. Applicants who are overseas may apply by correspondence to the above address. Alternatively, application can also be made online at http://www.spf.gov.sg/epc/cert_issued.htm.

The following documents should accompany the applications:

    For Singaporeans: NRIC/current international passport;

    For non-Singaporeans: Documentary proof of residence in Singapore must be shown - i.e. old/current passports or any relevant documents;

    Exit permit, if applicable;

Two recent passport size photographs (3.5cm x 3 cm.); and

Application fee. Please check the website for current fee.

Processing time for the certificate is two to three weeks.

Former residents should write directly to the address given above for the necessary forms and instructions. Alternatively, they could have a set of rolled fingerprints taken by their local police authorities and submit this with photocopies of the documents listed above together with photographs, fee and postage charge. Singapore authorities also require that all immigrant applicants show proof of their intentions. The packet 3 cover letter bearing their name will suffice.

  10. My fiance has lived and worked in 3 different countries; Singapore, Lebanon, and Mexico. I just submitted the I-129F application package. How long will these clearances take to get? Can she obtain them now ? Or will she have to wait for the NOA2? Any information would be greatly appreciated. :star:

    P

  11. Thanks so much for the replies. I will try to start on this as soon as possible. But it

seems that it cannot be sent until the NOA2 and packet 4 is approved and delivered.

This procedure seems so ridiculous that it cannot be checked on as part of the NBI or immigration approval

I hope you finally got your visa approved airich.

    thanks again everyone

  12. Hi fellow VJ'rs

My fiance was working as a caregiver in Singapore for 6 months before returning to the Philipines. Will the embassy require her to get a

police clearance with the NOA2 package? I noticed that it takes some time to get the document back from the foreign governments if needed. I

dont want the process to be delayed by this.

    Thanks in advance

  13. Hi All ,

I have a question- my fiance's friend is going to have her medical exam in a couple of weeks.

She has given birth and had a c section. She has visible scars below her stomach. According to my fiance, her friends sister has adopted the baby which is 2 years old now.

This lady's fiance is aware of the circumstances and is OK with her situation.

Will this hinder her passing the medical exam at St. Lukes? Will she need to have any documentation with her prior to the examination?

  14. Hi VJ Friends,

I am new to this forum and I just received the NOA1 for my fiance in the Philippines. I know there is a long way to go in the process

but when would be the best time to visit her. Since the visa might be issued some time after her interview, is it better to wait until after the interview or

maybe just go sometime in the middle so the wait will not seem so long? Just curious as to what most people are planning to do. BTW this site is awesome. :help:
