  1. Yeah good point Matt & Bing because i had my interview the day before and i went with my wife they didn't ask for any proof of relationship because i was there. So if there is any chance that the petitioner or Fiancee can come to the philippines it would be a higher Approval rate.. ohh just to let you guys know it took 2 days for me to get all my packet and visa in hand Air21 is doing a good job in deliveries this week... be heading out maybe on 4th of july and catch the fire works hehehehe

  2. I was wondering what i need to do for a Humanitarian reinstatement my aunts son die of liver cancer 2 weeks ago. All she was waiting for was her interview date so she could take her medical exam. I know that they say once the petitioner dies so does the petition that is why i was wondering about the Humanitarian reinstatement because my aunt's sister said that she would submit a I-186 affidavit of support so they can come to the States. What are the Odds of her coming to the states?

  3. Thanks Every one... Visa Journey saved me a lot of money instead of hiring a lawyer.... they say that lawyers can bring spouse here faster did any one hire a lawyer and how long did it take for them to get them over here?

6:30am - Arrived and sat down inside the US Embassy..

6:55am - Received a ticket stub and waited until our time we sat at the 8:30 section

9:15am - We Got called to the first window for first interview the man was very polite asked my wife to sign the DS-230 part 2 showed our evidence. success!!!

9:45am - We got Called to the Final interview got asked 1 question when did you get married i replied he asked again the same question my wife replied then he said exact

word for word "Sorry Long pause maybe 10 seconds for the hassle and sorry for the long wait but your VISA is APPROVED! " i was like HU? yes. inside my head

  7. Hi guys I just wanted to know what to bring on my interview tomorrow I'm a little confuse on what i should bring...

    • Original/NSO copy/ Photocopy of NSO - Birth Certificate, Marriage Certificate
    • Original/ Photo copy - US Passport
    • Photos of Honeymoon Wedding and Random shots together
    • Copies of ITR *Income Tax Return

I was wondering we don't have anything shared like a bank account or anything because i just graduated college here in the Philippines but i return home every sem-brake, Vacation and Christmas and we got married here in the philippines so just wanted to know what else to bring.

  8. i found this on the internet

"In March, 2002, President Bush signed the Family Sponsor Immigration Act. This law specifically addresses the

problem caused by the death of the petitioner. It permits another close relative such as a parent, spouse, brother or sister, to sign the requisite affidavit

of support in the place of the deceased petitioner, freeing up the USCIS to reinstate petitions voided by the death of the petitioner. The USCIS can now reinstate a

petition when the petitioner has died if there is a close relative to sign the affidavit of support.. Of course, this reinstatement is discretionary, but the USCIS has granted

a number of these requests and this recent law makes the process much easier."

correct me if i'm wrong so this means that my Mom can petition my aunt which is her sister. because i believe she is also a sponsor who also applied and sign the I-186a

my aunt was only waiting for the interview date.

  9. Hi! Are you the petitioner or the beneficiary?

The choice of agent should be emailed or mailed to NVC. This is to notify NVC to whom should they send all notifications/letters regarding your case. The beneficiary should sign it.

It is recommended for the beneficiary to choose the petitioner as the agent so that all correspondence will be sent to the petitioner. It is quicker because the petitioner has a US address.

I'm the petitioner. I'm currently going to school here in the Philippines here with my wife. I go home after very sem break and vacation. so what happen if i become the agent do i represent her in the state again i am in the Philippines finishing up school.. thanks for the reply...

  10. I just received a packet from NVC... it is just saying please pay AOS Fee. then has something about choice of address and agent... So my question is what do i need to do I already paid the fee so have to wait 2-3 days before it clears and check on the status. what is the purpose the Choice of Address and Agent form for? i am a little confused and how much longer do i have to wait at this point... sorry just a little anxious so close but so far... hehehehe

  11. Thanks for the reply and i should doing the rest of my paper work... Thank thanks thanks Yipeee!!!i should update my time line hehehe it been a while..
And profile if doing IR-1/CR-1 http://www.visajourney.com/forums/index.ph...rCP&CODE=01

Still dont know if I-129F was sent in or not for the K-3, if not then it is too late to do K-3, you will be doing CR-1 which is the better and less expensive way to go.

I thought just sent in a I-130 form and nothing else and people were telling me to send a I-129F but I was too lazy. I didn't know that there was a difference within price because when reading here i didn't need to pay for the additional I-129F. But just out of curiosity what is the price difference between K-3 and Cr-1

  12. Congratz!

Narina, he might be one of those sent to CSC. most of may filers for stand alone CR1 from VSC had been sent to CSC, as far as I've noticed

yeah for some strange reason I did get transferred to CSC and i wrote my Senator a letter during the elections and i knew that she was going to win + she was part of homeland security so that was a + so she sent me a letter to have permission to gather my petition paper and then not even a week i got approved i should. what timing...

  13. Okay I just received an e-mail saying:

Application Type: I130 , IMMIGRANT PETITION FOR RELATIVE, FIANCE(E), OR ORPHAN

    Current Status: Approval notice sent.

On December 16, 2008, we mailed you a notice that we have approved this I130 IMMIGRANT PETITION FOR RELATIVE, FIANCE(E), OR ORPHAN. Please follow any instructions on the notice. If you move before you receive the notice, call customer service.

I don't know what this really means... I don't know what to do next. or whats going to happen next.... I think my I130 was approved but i'm not sure what is going on very confuse...
